Will the energy bar on in-game be returning?
I do not have time to watch the gameplay videos posted right now so can someone tell me if the energy bar on in-game be returning? For us users who do manual subs this is essential. They took it out the last 2 games and we have had to ppause the game or call a timeout to find out who is tired. Its such a hassle.Last edited by MeloNYK7; 09-15-2015, 09:10 AM.Tags: None -

I dont think you guys understand the point I was trying to make. If u remember in 2k12 there was an actually energy bar in the in game sub menus. Which allowed you to know who to sub in n out by stamina manually. They took it off n had ratings instead last yr which is obviously useless to an in game sub menus (I already know their ratings I need their energy level). Will it be making its return?Comment

I too am wondering this. I don't know why they took it out of NBA 2k14, and still didn't put it back in 2k15.I do not have time to watch the gameplay videos posted right now so can someone tell me if the energy bar on in-game be returning? Exactly, you are talking about the quick sub overlay using player rating rather than player energy level. Hoping the energy level is back also... I did not see in any of the game play videos any substitutions being made by the user, nor the quick sub overlay being brought up.I dont think you guys understand the point I was trying to make. Re: Will the energy bar on in-game be returning?
no its not. its been missing '14-'15 from the in-game sub menu. it makes absolutely zero sense why they took it out and never put it back in. I sure hope its back this yr, its such a minor thing but something thats so important to have and be able to see so you don't have to waist timeouts.Comment

Yea after I thought about it. I realized I was thinking of the one after timeouts. And he was talking about something different. Also even if it is out you don't have to waste TOs. Just pause and go into the sub menu.no its not. its been missing '14-'15 from the in-game sub menu. it makes absolutely zero sense why they took it out and never put it back in. Re: Will the energy bar on in-game be returning?
i just started bring in a whole new 5 off the bench itself of wasting time trying to figure out everyone's stamina level. definitely a hassle. I heard Chris Smoove say this yr is even worse. He said in his video u have to click the persons name and use the right stick to pick his individually replacement every time.Comment

Re: Will the energy bar on in-game be returning?
Yes for offline gameplay you can certainly do that. For online gameplay thats not an option though and you can only see it during timeouts. Whats crazy is that for 2k15 xbox 360 it shows the energy level in the in-game sub menu. There is no excuse why on next gen it shouldn't be included.Comment

Re: Will the energy bar on in-game be returning?
I watched that video by him and heard that too. It sounds like they made the in-game substitution method overly complicated for 2k16. There was no reason to change it either the method they have always used in the past with the d-pad has worked great to quickly scroll through and select who you wanted to use. It sounds like its really going to be a pain this year unless they change it back.i just started bring in a whole new 5 off the bench itself of wasting time trying to figure out everyone's stamina level. definitely a hassle.
