Hmmm. I simmed a month and a half in season mode and there were a handful of shoot out loses around the league and everyone's win/loss stats jived so I thought it was fixed. Maybe it's still broken when you actually play the game. That's unacceptable. So is season goal totals not shown too.Comment

I believe this is correct. My goaltender, Cam Talbot, did NOT receive a win following a shootout victory. However, other teams across the league who have gotten shootout wins have their goaltenders displaying credit for that victory. So, in simmed games, it seems the goalie gets credit while in played games he does not.Hmmm. My next test will be to determine if I play the full game then quit prior to the shootout, meaning the REMAINDER of the game (shootout only) would be simmed, if then the goalie gets credit or not. This could be a potential work around for those of us who are picky about stats. Shootouts for me are a toss up anyway, so if this works and my goalie gets credit because I sim just a shootout, I'll take it.
I'll let everyone know what I find, or if someone else gets a chance to test before me, please advise here as well.Comment

Finally got a game to go to a shootout in my GM Mode. I can now CONFIRM that playing a full game, including OT, then quitting prior to the start of the shootout WILL give your goaltender the win (if your team wins the shootout in the sim).I believe this is correct. My goaltender, Cam Talbot, did NOT receive a win following a shootout victory. That's goofy. I hope EA can figure that out. It's not the end of the world, but it's certainly annoying, and pretty silly that they missed it. Wonder if it's connected somehow with the season stats not showing up in game.Comment

I may be mistaken but I think last year, if the shoutout was resolved in the first 5 skaters your goalie got the win/loss if it went beyond that it never registered. Either unacceptable two years in a row and they must know about by now.Comment

Really? I never knew this. It is rather frustrating. I'm not sure why a bug like this wouldn't have been addressed in this year's iteration. I'm at least satisfied there is somewhat of a work around. Plus, the 3v3's have led to me seeing less shootouts in game thus far in my GM Mode, too. I suppose it is what it is. Hopefully it is either patched (unlikely) or fixed next year.Comment
