MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
I’ve simmed a few seasons in MyLeague and the statistics seem way overinflated. I’m using the 04-05 Phoenix Suns and Steve Nash is scoring around 27ppg (career high is 18.6ppg). This is only one example of hundreds.

Are the issues you're seeing only on historic teams? The fill-in players might be throwing the shot tendency and other tendencies' balance off, leading the real players to have over-inflated stats.I’ve simmed a few seasons in MyLeague and the statistics seem way overinflated. If you're seeing similar issues on current teams, be specific with your examples, and we can look into it.Eleftherios "Leftos" Aslanoglou

Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
Tendencies have something to do with it, but problem also seems to be team posessions are too high. For example. Durant was averaging 33 and 8.5 assists in a season(way too high) especially in conjunction with his scoring and Westbrook was averaging 10.6 assists that same season as well. Wade also averaged 8+ assists and Melo 6+. Someone even reported that the Thunder pace in one simulated season was as high as 102 despite them averaging around the 95 range past few seasons, which is nearly 7 possessions more. Not sure how easily that can be fixed but for Myleague junkies like me would be greatly appreciated. Rebounds skew too high as well for most bigs, deandre and drummond are good but then theres a bunch of bigs averaging 13 and 12 boards a game which isn't the case in real life but think that just ties into the possessions problem as well. Are the issues you're seeing only on historic teams? Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
It's shot tendencies. Amare and KG both have really low shot tendencies for some reason which throw off the sim stats. Adjust them to how you see fit.I’ve simmed a few seasons in MyLeague and the statistics seem way overinflated. Hey Leftos, if you're looking into sim stats, mind checking out BPG? It definitely got an increase (finally!) but it doesn't seem too consistent. I've had Brook Lopez averaged 2.6 in 31 minutes with an 83 rating and Whiteside only at 2.3 (per 36 min) with a 90 rating. When I turned up Lopez's shot blocking to a 99, he averaged the same amount of blocks. (Multiple tests)
Maybe have the 99 rating top out a bit more? Thanks
I think the possession issue is a result of every team's offensive tempo being too high.Comment

Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
Yup, the points of emphasis are all set to basically default for all 30 teams. I've actually spent my first day with the game changing POEs and sim testing, I'm really really close to perfect results that closely mimic each teams dvanced stats from last season for Pace, Defensive Rating, and rebounding Percentages. I'll let you guys know when I'm done.Tendencies have something to do with it, but problem also seems to be team posessions are too high. For example. I believe that's simply a result of Lopez Block Shot TENDENCY being a 92 while Whiteside's is only a 64.Hey Leftos, if you're looking into sim stats, mind checking out BPG? Not sure why he's only a 64Die hard Heat and Dolphins fan since '89

Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
So the tendency actually affects sim stats? That's great news. Though, it still doesn't explain why Lopez recorded the same amount of blocks when I turned up his rating by 16Comment

Pleaseee do would be greatly appreciated. What exactly did you change with the POE's?Yup, the points of emphasis are all set to basically default for all 30 teams. Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
A lot of teams need Patient Offenses. Also, a good amount of Average tempo teams and only a handful of Shoot at Will (and Run In Transitions) teams gives you realistic results. (Generalizing here.. I'm sure ant has got a formula)Comment

Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
Those Durant & Westbrook stats are exactly how it was when I simmed a season. Durant won the MVP by averaging 30 points, 8 rebounds, & assist. Westbrook averaged 22 points & 10 assist. Small forwards averaged about 8 rebounds & the blocks may need to be upped as far as sim but in game there are way too many blocks. It's fun sometimes tho haha defense never hurts.

Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
I haven't seen the playoff simulated stats for this year's game but in 2k's past the stats were almost perfectly balanced... If only they could do a slightly loose version of that for the reg season. Does anyone know how the PO stats are this year?Comment

Re: MyLeague Sim Stats Too High
Going to sim multiple seasons tomorrow with regular teams and submit my results. I don’t believe the tendencies of the generic players threw anything off with the 04-05 Suns, because I set them to 0 minutes and ran a 9 man rotation all year with the real players.
Some legends had some oddly extreme stats as well. For example, Nate McMillan averaged around 28 to 30 minutes for me, played 82 games, and his scoring per 36 minutes was at around 3ppg and 11apg. That year with the Sonics he was at around 8ppg and 5.5 apg per 36 minutes.Comment
