Qb injuries
Now that they fixed the drive goal issue this game plays really well and is a lot of fun. My one gripe is the crazy amount of QB injuries. I have my slider at 60 hoping to see other positions get an injury but man it seems like the qurarterback gets injured every game. Is there a way to avoid this from happening or do i need to lower my injury slider quite a bit?

Re: Qb injuries
You probably will have to lower it I was using someone else's sliders and was having the same issue they had injuries set to 62. And every game I played Marcus Mariota would get hurt and would be out the rest of the game or sometimes even worse a couple of weeks. And his injury rating is like 95 so I ended up lowering mine back down to 52. -
Re: Qb injuries
I have injuries at 60 and through basically two seasons worth of games Joe Flacco has not been injured once.
Do you guys run a lot with the QB or take a lot of sacks?Comment

Re: Qb injuries
I'm in week 10 of my Saints CFM with injuries at 62 and have not seen a QB injured. And I'm in week 4 of a Raiders CFM with injuries at 66 and have not seen a QB injured, curiously I have actually seen less injuries overall at 66 then I'm seeing at 62.WHO DAT! | GEAUX TIGERS! | LET'S GO RANGERS!

Re: Qb injuries
I see if all the time. My rookie QB is a 90 injury and 84 toughness and missed 7 games his rookie year and four out of five games his second year. I then lost my backup for 5 weeks in game 3 and was down to my 4th string QB in week 5. I have knocked out plenty of QB's for extended time as well. I'd rather not have injuries then seeing top quarterbacks out for multiple weeks all the time. The other players are rarely inured, it's just mostly QB's.Comment

Re: Qb injuries
Ive been through 4 games of my bears franchise. Cutler out for year, Clausen out 6 weeks, Aaron Rodgers out for the year, Carson Palmer 3 weeks got injured during game. And Carr just got injured for 10 weeks with a bruised sternum in game. My injuries are at 62 and i play coach mode on both offense and DComment

Re: Qb injuries
Wow, that is crazy. I play the same way, strict coach mode and never control anyone, I even sim the kicking. I have not seem injuries like that on either 62 or 66, in fact I was looking to up INJ to try and get more!Ive been through 4 games of my bears franchise. Re: Qb injuries
I dont like seeing all you guys having normal results. Makes me feel like I have a messed up copy of the game. I think im going to bring the injuries way down because there's more than enough injuries already. Even for the AI teams i've noticed an unrealistic amount of QB injuries. Lot of teams on their 3rd string QBs.Comment

Re: Qb injuries
In real life: Tony Romo, Ben Roethlisberger, Jay Cutler, and Geno Smith are all missing multiple weeks with injuries. Josh McCown missed two weeks with injuries. Drew Brees just missed a week with an injury, and Andrew Luck may miss this week with an injury.
If anything, your CFM is mirroring real life incredibly well. Either that or your post is sarcasm going over my head, in which case I apologize.

I figured it was sarcasm. Hard to tell on message boards sometimes. In real life: Tony Romo, Ben Roethlisberger, Jay Cutler, and Geno Smith are all missing multiple weeks with injuries. Which brings me to...

Re: Qb injuries
Yeah I was being sarcastic lol.
I've had realistic injuries in my CFMs so far. There was one instance where the CPU Chiefs were on their 4th string QB but things like that happen IRL. I had QB injuries myself of varying lengths. They usually happened when I tried to scramble too much and get rocked by a defender (like with RG3).
I remember a few maddens ago where the CPU never had any QB sim injuries, like literally 0. This pretty much made me stop playing that game.
I think QB injuries in M16 are fine.
EDIT: I play with injuries on 63 with Armor&Swords's sliders.Last edited by T5063; 10-02-2015, 03:20 PM.Comment

Re: Qb injuries
Crazy.. I love injuries as its a part of the game. They happen way more frequent then people want to give credit for.
Now on that not my 1st 2 games my injuries were at 60, not 1 injury. Last night I jumped my injuries up to 81 just to see what would happen and hopefully get a couple injuries.. Well no one got hurt dang it lol.. going to play a few games like this to see how it plays out.Comment

Re: Qb injuries
Still annoying that the "dice roll" determining injuries only happens for tackling events, making it mear impossible for offensive lineman to be injured in actual gameplay.
Does anyone know if the injury alider affects injury frequency in simulated games?----------------------
