Ok, download the new roster, close application. Go into your system storage and delete everything except the roster you just downloaded. Should be "online roster 3" if it's the one from yesterday. Load the game up and now play a game. You do not have any tuner until you play an online ranked game. The game is so much better out of the box. I was almost satisfied with all-star hardcore default.

Like I said last week, the gameplay is definitely better without any tuner, so I fully agree with you on that one. However, I'm on Xbox, so I lost all roster changes and player edits that I had made (and there were a lot of them) when I deleted my profile. Sad that there are not other ways to get rid of the tuners. -

I did this last yr, when the system got fast on us and the sliders were broke. Mickeymayham said I has slideritis. Funny thing is this happen to us the other night, so this is good timing. Cant play when sliders are broke. Will do this and go with that.Regulation Sliders

YES! Omg, thank you! This worked! It's back, baby! I thought it was a lack of poke check , but upon playing with the original again, I realize it's stick/puck collision. I can't just skate/stick handle through cpu player sticks anymore as the puck will actually react and get knocked away. Ah. So much better. Thanks again.Comment

Go to system storage management. Select NHL 16. Go to the file 'user profile' and delete it. That's it. The structural game
patch remains. The tuner updates are gone. You have to reaccept the user term agreements and reset your fav team upon starting the game. Everything else can stay(rosters, BAP,BeaGM). This is for playing single player modes only. If you go back to play online it will download the tuner update again.Comment

With frustration setting in, I took a flyer (no pun intended...) and gave this a shot. Wow! What a difference!! Still get the occasional goalie-goes-brain-dead and allows a garbage goal, but EVERYTHING else is so much better! GREAT find, here!

Ok, a few questions...
1. I've only been on the first tuner because I don't ever go online with the game. Does what you've found apply to me?
2. I don't get what it is actually that you've found? That the first tuner was better? Didn't we already know that? (I'm not being a jerk I actually am genuinely asking)
3. Even if I do all of this, I'm already a month into my season, so it's not going to work in my case, right?Comment
