It occurred to me when I take short breaks from NBA 2K16 to play the other sports games in my collection I realize even more how far ahead NBA 2K16 is in gameplay, presentation, graphics, and animations. Sometimes you have to take a step back to appreciate all that this game does well. When compared to the the other sports labels titles the passion shines through in NBA 2K16 like no other. Bravo 2K sports for creating what seemed like a masterpiece from day one that held up to be a complete masterpiece almost a month later and beyond!

Yep, lost interest in Madden very quickly when 2K16 dropped. Last year I didn't pick up 2K15 until February and I didn't play it until April because I was playing Madden all year. This year I picked up 2K16 with the early access pre-order and don't regret a moment, I love the game and play it tons.
The depth is insane, the gameplay is great, my only real knock on 2K16 is the servers. While they seem very much improved from last year, they could always be better (although the same could be said for other games).Los Angeles Lakers, Las Vegas Golden Knights, Atlanta Falcons

Apples and oranges. I own FIFA but think year over year the NBA 2K series has improved the most all around, from franchise, to gameplay and authenticity. No offense to FIFA but NBA 2K16 is in a league of there own.Comment

I had every single FIFA game since 96, I know everything about that game and it's not close even a bit to 2k16. NBA2k16 is only really competing with itself.Comment

Though in my favorite modes trade logic, free agent signing and contracts are let down and also Intel of teams are doing poor job, but nonetheless, it's still huge step forward, if that fixed I'm happy.Comment

This is the truth. I've been playing quick game versus the AI as I am waiting on a couple MyLeague fixes. Played a game about three days ago and have been thinking about this topic since.Comment

If they can iron out the obvious gameplay issues that are ruining the game, especially from an online standpoint, then I'll have no problem hailing this as the best 2K since 2K11 and arguably the best ever. But until then I refuse to put this game in that category.Comment

I can't think of a Sports Game that doesn't have obvious gameplay issues.
