with this years game playing well out of the box, i thought i'd fire up this thread in hope that we can fix these problems (those that are curable within these numbers/bars) and really polish this great wrestling experience.
let's just start with a general brainstorm and see where that takes us. here's what i'll add:
- i use the hard difficulty as a base. i'm not sure if this will come into play ever but i'll get it out of the way.
- i always have finisher strength/foreign object strength at max. these are (and should be in game) huge momentum changers in matches.
- i use the momentum rate option before every match realistically based on the matchup. if i want realism in my "sliders", why wouldn't i base the match around realism as well?
i'm hoping that if attribute editing has a great effect on gameplay this year, that mixed with some great sliders, we can make this game what it seems to be REALLY close to achieving: wrestling nirvana.
i like the idea of a lower reversal recovery rate as the management of reversals is absolutely crucial this year (love this feature). the same may apply to stamina, but i haven't played enough to see if stamina will be an issue.
