Something I noticed in Gauntlet mode

every 2nd 3pt shot is a made shot if you do miss the 2nd some which will happen about two times or so the 3rd is automatic. Not saying this works with horrible 3pt shooters but it works with good and great 3pt shooters, and you have to know the timing of the players release.

Yeah, this was a topic in the general forum. Its almost impossible to hit two 3s in a row, no matter how good and how open the shooter is. 99% the second one is a brick.

lame...but it's also cheesy because I've been beating ppl buy just shooting nothing but 3's in Gauntlet because I know the shot after the miss is a made shot.

No, one after the other. The opponent was off-ball with Lebron and kept leaving Copeland wide open in corners and wings. He quit when I was up 14-6. Catch and shoot, wide open and in hotspots.

Never saw anything like that in over 200 gauntlet games tbh. Even with gold ray allen with gold shooter i could only make two back-to-back due to a perfect release. i leave shooters wide open on the second one, they always miss. Maybe that got tuned after the patch on saturday.

The threes from the side are higher % and you can get a perfect release, perfect releases on other threes are very rare, don't even think I've had one in Gauntlet. I'm guessing they'll adjust it so perfect releases are more achievable.

interesting post. I logged on to post in the Gauntlet thread that there is some sort of equalizer involved. every time someone makes that assumption, people always deny that one exists.

I think its B.S. and one of the things that frustrates me. Like I have been up by 5 and the opponent is virtually helpless then he knocks down a contested 3 fading away and I am like here we go. Had that happen once, then I came down and missed a green release with kyle korver w/99 standing 3 and nobody within 15 ft of me. lol

I also benefit from it, so its not one way, I have been able to come back on guys by hitting shots I know I was supposed to miss. I will try out the 3pt thing today though. Was playing this guy today and was murdering him, no way he was gonna win and he just started shooting 30 footers with Malcolm Lee and hit 4 of them. Yes, I said Malcolm Lee.

this has been p...... me off. its pointless to work to get wide open for that 2nd 3pter because they always miss it. even with green release. I lose too many close games because I cant hit two 3's in a row even if wide open with great shooters.
