Ok, I get it, you have to practice and learn it. I've read the tips, which are good and all but flawed as well. I'm sure if I kept working on it, I could probably get better but I just realized...submissions, at least for me, just aren't fun.
I have no fun in doing them. The pin system, while it feels cheap at times, at least gives me a sense of excitement and fun (seriously fix the random button lag though). Submissions, they just aren't fun especially against the PC who can seemingly determine which way the bar needs to move with no second to think about it, You almost never see them trying to adjust to you but instantly reacting to you.
I think one simple thing could make it better. Instead having to push the stick in the direction of the bar, just change it so that left always goes clock-wise while right always moves it counter clock-wise. I've lost many times trying to do that "just tap it" tip that was created because now the bar is on the left of the circle and instead of making it back to the right by pressing right, I have to press down now.
I'm having an incredible blast with this game, first wrestling WWE game I've bought since the PS2/Xbox Days and I'm really having fun but every time submission becomes a part of the game (doing the Showcase matches against Brett Hart right now), my fun turns to frustration and anger. I just have no fun with that part. It isn't because I need to "get gud" with it I just really do not find the mechanic all that fun.
So this is a rant post but also for anyone who maybe feels or felt the same way as me to come on and share what makes it better and the game enjoyable again.
