    Playable offline?

Are you able to play this game offline? Unfortunately I will be without internet for quite awhile and don't want to spend the money on it if I'm not able to play it. Thanks for any answers guys

Some games require an internet connection in order to function. This game doesn't.

Exactly. So I wanted to be sure because I know for sure I have a few games that require an internet connection to even start it. I think most of the EA Sports games are like that. Could be wrong though. But I figured since I was able to play NBA 2k without issue I would be safe with this. Just wanted to know for sure. Thanks

Set my console to "go offline" and looks like this is one of those that won't work without an internet connection. Seems weird that nba 2k is playable offline minus mycareer. Figured this would work the same since other than community creations and any thing involving the online I don't see any reason for there to be a reason for it to be required to be online. Oh well
