Will you buy MLBTS 16?
Sony San Diego is always looking and listening on the boards. They have heard our cries! Will they now answer our prayers. I like the additions of equipment brands and the radio show is a nice touch. I am still not accepting the base-runner in the window equipment not matching the player that was in the batter box. The All-Star game is visually unimportant to the baseball enthusiast like myself who plays all 162 games. I heard the developer logic doing that way. But that's a near deal breaker. I did purchased the anniversary copy. Paid full price for it. No trading games. I used to love the Show, but now I just like it. Sony San Diego bring back that loving feeling for me!Tags: None -

I don't know what any of that had to do with 16, but yes. The Show is the one game I absolutely must get on release day.Boston Red Sox

Re: Will you buy MLBTS 16?
Year to year saves are a feature that has me hooked. In fact I'm so hooked on it that I've dumped my other sports game (EA's NHL) because they don't have year to year saves, and building a franchise just seems futile without them.
MLB 15 has been my favourite The Show I've ever played. That fact alone may make me wait until MLB 16 is on sale. But if I see a video clip of the dome closing at the Rogers center, I will throw money at the screen.
P.S. I actually sim all star games now. I know it can effect home or away at the world series but I actually prefer to have that be random, and I find the home run derby really boring. Not saying that I represent the majority just throwing in my 10 cents.Comment

Re: Will you buy MLBTS 16?
I'll be sitting on the fence waiting to find out what features will change before I decide on whether or not to buy MLB 16 or to play another year with MLB 15.
But I have two strikes against me right now in terms of not buying MLB 16.
1) Money is tight. I am working, but I am only a contract worker, many people have been laid off from their jobs lately and as someone who works in the private sector, raises do not exist in my vocabulary and all around me life gets more expensive with all three levels of government (Federal, Provincial and Municipal) finding new ways to take more of my money from me to pay for their spoiled entitled public sector workers (a service fee is a tax) and to make matters worse, the CDN $ is low and are sports game really worth $90 when I had to spend 10k replacing my roof last year and my house is in desperate need of renovations.
2) I am a MoM player and each of the last two years SCEA has been taking small features out of MoM games as opposed to adding new features into the mode and since they pretty much publicly admitted last year that they don't even like the feature, you know they would love to just kill it off one of these years. The only reason why I even bought MLB 15 was for the graphical improvements (yes the graphic improvements on the PS4 were good in MLB 15).
But for these two negative strikes against me for saving my much needed $90 and not buying MLB 16, I will still acknowledge that the MLB The Show series is one of the better (if not the best) sports games and I will wait to see what new features are planned for MLB 16 before I decide to save my $90 or buy the new game. It's early November, much to early to be thinking about it now. I only popped into Operation Sports today because I was thinking of downloading some sort of historical roster to play some games with this winter.Last edited by My993C2; 11-06-2015, 11:42 AM.Comment

Re: Will you buy MLBTS 16?
First I have to see what MOM offers. Also, I would like the ability to use whatever camera I choose for play now if I decide to go CPU v CPU on a minor league game (or allow us to paly minor league games during the season like MVP did). If those stay the same as 15 I will probably will not buy it.Comment
