2 team franchise, Im puzzled

So I have a 2 team franchise going. No simming, playing every game(s). Im the Indians 15 - 4 ending April and also the Braves 7 - 13. Im using a version of OSFM V2 and a few tweaks, but A&S Sliders. Now, gameplay is awesome. Im very happy stat wise, and nothing is over exaggerated as far as stats. So now the puzzling part. The records.... I doing overly good with one, and struggling with the other. So if I was playing with one team, would I be about 21 - 18? Is playing both teams causing one side to win more and the other to lose? The way I play is by the schedule. If Indians have a start time before the Braves, I play the Indians first. Now it is only one month, but I would hate to go through the whole season (playing 324 games) and have some lopsided W/L record. It would be so deflating.

Could it be possibly because the Tribe has a much better talent pool than the Braves? IMO Cleveland is much better in this game than Atlanta.

Ya, I agree about the talent. Cleveland is also off to a hot start im guessing. Im just going with that. They do play in the game, better then RL. Like I said, the stats arent out of the norm. On to May......
