How Do You Plan to Adjust New CFM EXP Sliders?
New update adds EXP slider changes for new CFMs. Do you plan to increase them all equally or only certain categories?

I'm curious what people will do with this too. Do we know if it only applies players on user teams, or if it affects players on CPU teams as well? -

You can say that without knowing how much the sliders will affect the XP gains by? Enjoy your league of 60 OVR teams in a few years if zeroing the sliders actually results in 0 XP gains.Comment

I really hope this is how works so people will start complaining that there league is full of 70ish players because they aren't getting any XP.Comment

Re: How Do You Plan to Adjust New CFM EXP Sliders?
Can anyone confirm:
1. Is this for both online and offline CFMs?
2. Is this for just user teams or all teams receiving the boost?
I hope this is slider is a hint that we're getting a lot more control/customization in Madden 17 like NBA 2K16.Comment

Re: How Do You Plan to Adjust New CFM EXP Sliders?
1. Seems the patch notes say new online CFMs only. There is some speculation in the patch thread that it's because the update is being done server-side, so it doesn't affect offline.
2. Really hope it's all teams. Shouldn't be too hard to test when it's live. Although for CFMs like mine that play low quarters, it could be a way to level the playing field for user XP vs. CPU xp. For example, when playing low quarter length, OL progresses super fast, and now that the sack issue is fixed, I don't think any other position class would progress quickly for users. So I'd boost all positions but OL. But will have to see what the deal is..
Yeah more customization would be amazing. I could go on and on, but draft classes, CPU GM behavior, trade difficulty, re-signing difficulty... so many possibilities.
I have an additional question... Does the XP boost apply to all activities that give XP (game prep, drive goals, weekly goals, season goals, etc.), or just like game prep?Cow. Boys.Comment

Re: How Do You Plan to Adjust New CFM EXP Sliders?
It is for Online only and for New Online CFM not existing ones.
To give a little prespective on the level of XP you can get, I set all the positions to 300 in a new mock Online CFM. I did the game prep with the same player I have been performing on in my real online CFM. For 10 hours of game prep, my player got anywhere from 40-60 for 10 hours prior to the patch. Post patch that same player got 140-180. A pretty significant boost.
For the in game drills the same player would get 140-200 for 20 hours of game prep. After the patch he got 400-600 for those same 20 hours.
The game prep from 1 simmed game was significantly higher as well. With the setting at 300 for each position, you wind up getting close to the same amount of XP that we got from M15 from games. Didn't test to see how much you got for meeting season goals however. Its a pretty large difference with the 300 setting.
Personally I don't think its worth restarting an existing league to change the settings to anything under 200 for XP.Comment

Cool, thanks for establishing that baseline. Seems we can safely say the optimal setting can be reached given that 300 sounds like too much.It is for Online only and for New Online CFM not existing ones.

Just to confirm-- does your post imply that the sliders affect xp gained from weekly/season goals?Cow. Boys.Comment
