We Finally get Sock Legnths and They're Done WRONG (The Curse of the Sock?)

So is it intentional or are those of us who want socks simply cursed? lol

We can't use anything but stock socks. They are missing proper logo placement or are non existent (the logos) along with the kneed pads I might add. To top it off, they go UNDER adidas kneepads (which don't even have NBA or Adidas logos) ?! Does the art department watch the games? The socks go OVER the knee pads and compression pants. WHY are they UNDER???



This would all be fixed if they added actual NBA gear and allowed us to simply layer it.

You guys must really zoom in close in replay. I never notice socks or logos on accessories when I'm playing.

I'm glad you care about them. You can care about whatever you want. I was just wondering aloud how you even notice the stuff you're referring to when you're playing the game since I do not.

I always get real into the minute details, whatever game I'm playing. That's how I am, and it's a curse sometimes when a developer seemingly doesn't care as much as I do. I do go into replay quite often, and when I do I get a real kick out of seeing, for example, a true to life pair of LeBron 13 Navy PEs up close. And it's always the opposite when something is inaccurate, which in 2K games often is the case. You'd think the NBA, a league known for being very conscious about its public image, would care about the minute details as well. And literally no one would be worse off if 2K made a concerted effort to iron these things out.

Have you ever played Madden? That is, without a doubt, the worst game out there in regards to accessories. I'm not here to bash either game, but 2K is perfection when compared to Madden.

Madden, for many reasons, is an inferior gaming experience nowadays, and makes for a poor measuring stick.

In MyCareer you can equip the socks, but when you go in game, they disappear lol...smh 2k. Also, I've done the stance socks offer endorsement (8 off days) and I can't even equip stance socks in MyCareer? Why? And even if I could, they'd disappear anyway haha. Socks are cursed!

I'm STILL waiting for 2k to give us the ability to CHOOSE sock colour.

How hard can it be, I mean SERIOUSLY.

We can change colour of arm bands, undershirts, compression shorts etc, yet you won't allow us to have either black/white or team colour socks???!!!

Do you happen to wear leg sleeves or knee pads? The socks don't show up for me when I wear those but if I take everything off my leg then the socks actually appear.

I was afraid this mighta been the issue cuz I like to wear leg accessories. They need to allow us to layer accessories then. I will try what u say and I'm sure it will work, but what about choosing sock color or sock type? That poses a problem still. If they allow u to layer tattoos, why can't we layer accessories?

I hate that it bothers me so much but the off-white/ grayish socks look so bad in my opinion. It really stands out when you are wearing white shoes or white compression leggings. There is a clear difference between the two shades of white. I think I dislike it so much because it makes everyone look like they're wearing old dirty socks. I've been experimenting with white ankle wraps at home since they appear to be a true "white" but that only works with one desired length. Again, I hate that this bothers me as much as it does but I can't help it.

2k really needs to step their accessory game up in general, it's that simple.

I know I'm not the only one who is super into this stuff and it sticks out like a sore thumb every time they get something incorrect.

Like other folks get pissed when the contract lengths are incorrect or someone's three point rating is obviously too low. This is no different
