Re: 2k's new boosting problem
It's not terrible, it's just sad for a few reasons.
1: Firstly, that people see legend status as anything other than some arbitrary method for measuring the fact that someone has played this game loads more than someone else.
2: Why on earth would anyone want to waste a couple of days doing this 1000 times to get legend?
3: If this is how they get to legend, then I'm really not worried about their ability to play the game. -
Re: 2k's new boosting problem
Team Yao has no shame whatsoever in doing this. He's been caught multiple times boosting on the 2's and continues to do so lol. This is no worse than those who boost in MyCourt. Boosting has been abused in 2k16 so much it's hard to take any guys with high rep serious. To each it's own though. 2k allows people to do this without repercussions so I'm not surprised one bit. The booster list is quite long too smh.Comment

Re: 2k's new boosting problem
As long as there are levels to attain in video games, there will be people who boost to get as high as possible, as fast as possible. Boosting has been happening as far back as I can remember in online multiplayer games."Baseball is the coolest sport because, at any moment, the catcher can stop the game and go tell the pitcher a secret" - Rob FeeComment

Re: 2k's new boosting problem
Wow, that seems pretty lame and also super boring. I guess if a title is what floats your boat though.
Further proves my point to stop trying to balance this game around online play since people will always find a way to 'win the game' as opposed to play the game.Comment

Re: 2k's new boosting problem
Why would you admit to that on this board? I commend your honesty in this particular instance, but I'd be suspicious of you online if I were to ever play and encounter you.
I think a lot of guys here on OS like to play ball and avoid anything like this.Comment

Re: 2k's new boosting problem
No I don't and I never play online, so it doesn't matter to me. I just think that if you play online and frequent this site you may want to play with people from OS or play against people from OS. Mentioning that you've done crap like that isn't a good look because you'd have to give them your id via OS. You've already said you don't care anyway, so it doesn't matter.Comment
