Create Save Point Button

When in Franchise, there is a button at bottom "Create Save Point" which makes no sense to me, there is no such button like it shows, on PS4 controller.

There was on PS3, but not 4. It is what I'd call a horizontal rectangle (longer sides are on top and bottom) No such button exists. There is a "vertical" rectangle (longer sides on left and right), but it does nothing in this situation, as far as saving.

What am I missing here? How do I save. I see it in Sliders as well, at least there you can use O button to exit and it asks if you want to save them, but on main Franchise screen, when you have changed game settings and what not, it just has this odd button for Save Point.

Sorry I don't get it. How do I assure that the franchise and my settings are saved?

Well, first of all, it autosaves pretty much all the time, so I wouldn't even worry about it. But, second of all, the button in question is the trackpad.

I do not like autosave, have it turned off. Not sure what you mean by the trackpad? Thanks.

It's the gigantic button in the top middle of the controller. Between the Options button and the Share button.

Chuckle, like I said, Duh. I didn't even know that was a button. LOL Still pretty new to the PS4, learning curve.

I think that button also challenges a play in the game which is very annoying.

It calls time out (at least after the 2 minute warning) in-game.
