fun teams for myleague?

I want to use a team that is a building project after I'm done playing with the knicks in my current myleague. I don't want to use the usual suspects, (lakers, nets, twolves, 76ers) but rather teams that are close to becoming contenders or playoff teams that just cant quite get over the hump. I've been thinking blazers or the bucks but I still wanna evaluate other teams. thanks in advance

Celtics. Good team ****ty conference tons of picks no true 1 or 2 option.

Mavs. They're going to enter a new era once Dirk retires. They're gonna need a revamped roster to win the Wild West.

Rockets. James Harden needs a sidekick. You could let Howard walk in free agency or trade him for a mid first rounder and some other picks. The Rockets need some roster impRovement to get over the hump.

Hornets. Good players but no truly great players. They have some solid trade assets. I feel like lack an identity and that's what's holding them back. You could turn them into a beast in the east with some moves and drafts..

Bulls. You got to move forward with Rose and Butler. Or you have to trade Butler. Can't see Rose leaving his hometown.

Kings. They're garbage. Too many egos, no team identity.

^^^ Mudiay is the future. You have tradable pieces like Gallo and Wilson Chandler. I like Fareid.

I just started one with the Trail Blazers, and man outside of CJ and Lillard, the rest of the team just cannot score

Pacers, PG-13 is the best player to use in 2k, and you have many trade assets around him

Build around parsons and matthews, find good pg and athletic rebounding c maybe sign hassan in off season.

the nuggets actually interest me, and its a team that nobody really seems to talk about for 2k. I don't know too much about them in real life, but is the tank job on for this season? could I just trade away all their best pieces and load up on picks? again idk too much about their roster outside of mudiay and gallinari (only because hes a former knick lol) so I would appreciate any input on how to build this team up thanks

What i did was tank and draft brandon ingram, mudiay and ingram are like durant and westbrook

ok so I did some research, and I found that the nuggets actually have a lot of 1st rounders, so i'm thinking of trading for younger players to develop instead of tanking for a draft pick, and I also may be wrong but the nuggets don't even have their own first rounder this year, I believe the rockets have it, so its maybe not too wise to intentionally tank and not have a backup plan because you may not get that top pick because you don't have it

although I could be wrong about this
