You should Change the BCS Tie In's!

Hey Fellas Just and FYI when you create a new dynasty either offline or online you should change all the BCS Tie in's.

What I mean is when you create a dynasty, go to "BCS Bowl Tie Ins"

Once there delete the slots of all the championships so you should see "open Slots" and "at Large" next to eachother.

The reason being is my theory strength of schedule means more now. before I could take a bad 1 star team go undefeated and go to the BCS, with this trick this actually allows you to see during bowl season teams ranked #3 will play Team ranked#4, team Rank #5 will play #6 and so on which is pretty cool.

I'm in an online dynasty and I went 13-0 with central Michigan and still became #4 ranked. Some how Arizona was 11-2 and was ranked #2 and won it all against #1 Texas.

I never knew this. What's your opinion on it? You've been doing it for years. What have you noticed? More realistic bowl match ups and less 12-0 non power 5s playing in the NC?

Hey I've done it a couple seasons I've been getting 3 vs 4 5vs 6 7vs8 and etc. The one time I had Notre Dame #2 in the Big 12 conference and I beat Oklahoma # 1 in our conference championship. and I saw them again in the National champion ship Notre Dame #1 Oklahoma #2.

So this is a confirmed thing then? #1 vs #2, #3 vs #4, etc? Because if it actually works this way 100% of the time thats how I'll start setting up my dynasties

I just swapped over to it and in my first two years it worked right, 1v2, 3v4, ... Now that's a limited size sample but take it for what it's worth

OP: What have you found to be the case with mixed tie-ins, i.e. having half-set and half-open or something like that?

I accidentally fell upon this I was messing around and thought I wonder what would happen if I did no tie ins and left all the spots open. It was only one season and it was 1v2 3v4 and so on for the most part. I thought it was pretty cool it did eliminate those non power 5 conferences teams that would go undefeated and be ranked real high. It seemed more like toughness of schedule. I saw more power 5 schools with 3-4 losses in the top 25.
