McGregor v. Nick's Brother - Holm v. Tate - March 5 - Vegas
Looks like Conor is going to get a shot at the LW title.Tags: None -
Re: McGregor v. Dos Anjos - Holm v. Tate - March 5 - Vegas
Yeah, for sure. About to make life changing money.
Looking forward to hearing all the reasons why Conor doesn't stand a chance against RDA in the next couple months.
I don't think Conor puts him out with one shot but my money is on Conor pulling it off and vaulting even further into the stratosphere.
Very smart by the UFC. Im so happy it worked out this way. If everything works out both winners from these fights can be primed for the UFC 200 card. If everything works out a lot of people about to make a lot of money and the UFC wins big"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Sucks for Frankie, but I'm not mad at this decision.

Why would Frankie not eventually get a title shot ? Possibly UFC 200.
McGregor is able to hold both belts if I'm not mistaken and could fight him next in that weight class.PSN:EVH_4_EVERComment

That could easily happen, but Frankie was looking to fight him next.

Hopefully Dos Anjos puts it on McGregor. Great fighter, but he needs to be humbled.Comment

Frankie will make more money on the 200 card than on this card. If Conor wins, it will be even more money than that.
Conor is all an act so I don't mind him that much. He also shows respect to other fighters after the fight. He sells the fight, but is a genuine person off camera and treats his teammates and long time friends very well for helping him get to where he is.
Ronda has yet to say anything about Holm. No simple congratulations or you caught me, etc.
RDA is just boring, so I wouldn't mind seeing him lose. I'm sure the UFC would love to see him lose. Then maybe Cowboy drops back down and they get the fight they wanted.

It's a win-win situation for the UFC. McGregor won't put his belt in jeopardy while fighting for another, so they retain that title fight without risking anything. He wins, he owns to belts and there are two potential title fights on the line. He loses, he still has his belt and a championship fight while Dos Anjos will defend his own further.
It sounds good to me, honestly. Cannot ask for more.Comment

UFC finally does a special freak show fight? They would have to do K1 rules or something. No way Floyd gets in a cage with him though, kicking would kill his movement game.Comment

I love mma and boxing but I swear that they never have the mma fighter go into the boxing match. It's always boxer in the cage. Agreed that Floyd wouldn't go in the cage but Connor wouldn't get in a straight boxing match with Floyd
