Gaming Monitor discussion

Since we have a thread for headsets I figured we could use one for monitors as well. I think I'm ready to bite the bullet and pick one up. Considering this: http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-GW2765HT-...=operasport-20

Any input would be appreciated.

This is the BenQ I use for everything (xbox, ps4, and pc)

http://www.amazon.com/BenQ-XL2720Z-G...=operasport-20

I will never go back to a regular TV. I didn't realize the difference it would make going to a high quality gaming monitor. I love it to death, was worth every penny.

You will need to do some calibrating/adjusting yourself to get the image you prefer. I have a profile saved for each input (a different setting I use for xbox, PS4, and PC individually).

Yup...Same here the BenQ monitors are awesome for gaming.

I need to return mine to get the 1440p model for my new gaming rig

this is my current monitor
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00PXYRMPE/...=operasport-20

decided to go the ultra-wide route. loving it so far outside of a few games that just wont support it at all(Dragon's Dogma). Haven't tested it out with any intense games yet(hoping to try out The Witcher 3 eventually). mostly just strategy games where the extra wide view has been very good.

I have a 24" secondary monitor I use, an Asus monitor, i believe it's this one
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=operasport-20

use it to full screen videos that are less than 1080P on and for web browsing when gaming on main monitor. Might look into getting a 27" 2560x1440 monitor for the secondary at some point, but I'm good for now.

I posted the wrong link. I'm looking at this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/reviews/...=operasport-20

Only using it for my ps4, if I had a gaming pc I would look for a higher refresh rate. Any other reason I should be looking at more expensive monitors?

I'm using a LG 34" 2560x1080 monitor for a primary on my PC, with a second montior a QNix PixelPerfect via Ebay that is 2560x1440.

Love them both, but want to upgrade to a 3440x1440 34", probably the X34 from Acer, something with G-Sync.

I have that exact monitor. Only using it for PS4, and a little bit of Amazon Fire TV. ZERO complaints.. it's fantastic for the price.
