    Nba 2K17 Myteam wishlist

Replace rttp with a leader board system. Currently the rttp system does not give incentives to those who gave completed rttp. It would be better to see a record of all your wins and losses. If they are going to keep the rttp format at least give us a leaderboard to see where we rank in the community.

Give us two rttp. One with restrictions and one without any restrictions from the start. This would satisfy the people who love restricted seeds and also increase the value of silver and gold players.

leaderboards would make this mode more of an endless sandbox. Give people rewards for reaching a certain amount of wins.

What are some ideas you would like implemented into myteam?

    Re: Nba 2K17 Myteam wishlist

OVR rankings across all MT modes makes it an endless sandbox as well and keeps the market balanced and raises values/usage of some cards. this would counter the tier/colors.

Last year Mo Cheeks was a very good silver card and held high value for a while because of this. this year he was a worthless gold that nobody would put in any of their lineups. He would get more burn if there were an OVR rating.

Rewards need to be unique. Either it needs to be the only version of that card or the best version. Better reward players are needed.

RTTP should be more rewarding as far as MT is concerned.

      Re: Nba 2K17 Myteam wishlist

-Release more of the great historic players on day 1. The time between the release of the game and when there are a considerable amount of legends and special editions on the market is to long for them to only the few 90 plus overall current players be the only amethyst out for months on the market.

-Some type of regular game mode apart from RttP. Preferably something where I could actually use the silver and low end gold players. My suggestion would be a mode where you get random restrictions before the game such as only 2 amethyst/3 gold and you have 1 or 2 minutes to create a line up to fit those parameters.

-My personal stats for players on and offline. I should be able to see the horrible percentage I shot from 3pt with Steph Curry

-Ability to change settings like mins and difficulty in play with friends which is long overdue

-Give something to the people who still play RttP after they beat it. At least like 5kMT for each time I run through the 1st would be nice. More rewards MT in all areas of the game really. If they were going to take MT away for team collections because of the exploit then put the MT rewards in areas that isn't easy to get over and over again, don't just take it out completely.

Take dynamic cards out and create a team of the week. (I love dynamic cards, but if we had all stars like last year, they'd loose all value)

Have the ability to play challenges in different difficulties and adjust the rewards according to the difficulty.

MT reward for each and every time finishes a seed in RTTP. MT reward varies according to how well you performed.

          - Overall restrictions for seeds instead of colour tier. Also, instead of being forced into a certain seed, once we beat a seed we can play it again without intentionally getting demoted. Put leaderboards for each seed, so somebody can become the best with the 80 overall lineup.

          - All current and historic players released day 1.

          - Instead of dynamic/moment cards, give us a weekly group of players who are doing well, like the team of the week cards in fifa.

          - Be consistent with the ratings scale. Don't have some cards realistic while others have inflated stats. Make it sim attributes across the board.

          - Reward cards need more value. They should be significantly better than other cards of the same player.

          - Trial cards, let us pay 2k MT, 5k MT, or 10k MT (depending on the quality of the player) for a card with 5/10 contracts on it of somebody we are considering buying from the auction house. This saves us buying and selling the player for a loss if we don't like them. Also it could be used for things like those challenges that require Lebron and 6 players from the heat, so we don't have to buy all those guys to play a challenge then sell them for a loss. Trial cards cannot be used online or in RTTP.

          - More MT reward for game play. Every 100 games we play our MT from each game should go up. This will allow and encourage people to earn more and build up their team from actual gaming opposed to buying and selling on the AH.

          - Price ranges for cards in the AH. Control the market, based on a cards ratings they can't be sold for less than X and can't be sold for more than Y.

          - AH timer increases by 30 seconds whenever somebody bids and the card is in it's last minute on the AH. This will allow for bidding wars and the person willing to pay the most/has the most MT to win the card, instead of having people wait for the last second to place their bid and rob the card from someone else.

          - Make the contract prices cheaper

          - Let us store more than 10 contracts/badges/shoes in our binder, don't force us to sell/use when we have 10.

          - Scrap the collection system. Stop forcing us to collect 2700 cards when the average person may not play with more than 100 of them. There are too many challenges that require us to have large collections of cards. Also, when packs are opened the contents are fed right into our collection binders. Let us quick sell our cards or put them into the AH straight from the pack opening instead of forcing us to go through our collection every time.

          - Let us put a max bid for an item on AH, similar to what ebay does. Let's say Allen Iverson is current bid on the AH at 70k. I am willing to pay as high as 115k for him, but if nobody else bids I shouldn't have to bid 115k. Let me bid 75k with a 115k cap, that way I can leave and do something else instead of sitting and watching the auction. If somebody else bids 80k, my bid will automatically go to 85k, etc, until it reaches 115k, then if I get outbid I won't bid automatically anymore.

          - Fix bugs quicker, months into the game 0-0 losses and playbooks not loading are unacceptable.

          - Let us customize playbooks, taking plays from various teams and mixing them into 1 with all our chosen plays.

          - All badges should be correct. It is unacceptable for 85 gold Nash to have better badges then 96 diamond Nash. There are many examples like this.

          - Keep track of player and team statistics.

          - Allow us to improve our players after using them a certain amount of games. Maybe every 10 games we use a player we get 1 attribute upgrade that we can apply to any of their stats. Or if that complicates too much for player resale, what if every 10 games we use a player we can upgrade 1 of their badges for free. Often I don't like applying 50k worth of badges to a player who only costs 2k, so this can give me a way to improve that player by using them a lot in games instead of just spending money on them.

There is probably more.. but main points are: get rid of the collection system, allow us to earn more MT through game play, and add some quality of life improvements to save users time and let us focus more on playing the game.

The auction house is fine the way it is now. Maybe they should add an 1 hour auction option, but please don't add 30 seconds to the auction each time someone bids in the final seconds.

I don't understand why you think it's good now. Have you ever seen an auction take place where somebody is willing to pay more but isn't allowed? They say, "going once, going twice, sold to the highest bidder" after everybody goes silent and nobody else bids. They never say, "you have 1 minute and who ever makes the last bid before the timer runs out wins". When there is a bidding war and people are going back and forth, a new bid is NEVER rejected. The way the auction is set up right now makes 0 sense, and people who are willing to bid more should not be denied the opportunity.

The only reason I can see why somebody would want it to stay the same is due to sniping and stealing cards at low prices. People who make profit off of the current flaws. However, a counter to this is that when you are selling your cards you will make more too. Lets say you have a card up for sale and people are bidding on it. You want the most money for your card right?? Well, let the buyers continue bidding and the seller makes more as well.

Everybody wins. The buyer who is willing to pay the most wins, the seller makes more money, and 2k makes more because they get 10% and higher card sales is more juice for the house.

Your being a little over dramatic. If you don't have the winning bid you can set the highest bid to whatever you can pay. If you have the highest bid and your outbid in the final seconds, you can set the final bid on a card.
Most snipes come from buyouts not bidding. Maybe they should add a notification when one of your bids is coming to an end. But judging by the way people act when they see a simple update required sign mid-game...........
Quite frankly during peak hours and pack nights the auction house is super-slow, 100 people bidding on Lebron might crash the game.

My bad, I was being over dramatic. A notification that you have been outbid is a good idea. Maybe even a way to up the bid while still in game? I don't know if that's over stepping it. I do think the AH needs some tweaking to save time and help people play more instead spending so much time setting auctions. For example, if I have 10 guys up for auction all at different prices and only 2 sell. Instead of relisting all 8 individually again, remembering what prices I had them at or having to research prices for them, just click a button saying relist all and they all go back up another 4 hours at whatever price I had them previously listed for. Simple things, but time savers.

The auction system is broken because it does not make any sense to bid with 5 or ten minutes left. Why drive up the price when there's just a race to win it in the final 5 seconds. Auctions need to be extended to all active bidders in the last few minutes to truly capture the value of what the player is worth. 30 second increase with each new bid is more than enough for people to decide even with lagging Internet.

Also let us search current auctions just by clicking on our players in my auction to speed up the pricing decisions. They're already able to do it on the collection side so apply it to auctions too.

                        Re: Nba 2K17 Myteam wishlist

I will continue to post this idea every time I get the chance, because I love it and I want to know what you guys would think about this, and what changes you would make.

Have a mode called "the-playoffs", hence "Road to the Playoffs".

You have to qualify by winning a 3 game series before entering, as well as being in at least the unrestricted seeds of RTTP. An alternate way of qualifying could be winning an x amount of games in gauntlet.

The mode would be structured just like the playoffs, 4 4-game series. If you are eliminated, you must repeat the whole process all over again. Matchmaking should consider similar rounds as first criteria. Here would be some rules for this mode:
                        -HOF sim
                        -6 minute quarters (fatigue factor)
-Overall restriction (what OVR do you guys think?)
-coaches grant boosts pertaining to their base points of emphasis (the ones on the card, not the ones you set before the game)
-Chemistry grants boosts, or penalties. The way your players mesh together affects how they will play. With this also, no player should start hot or cold randomly, but could be a consequence of the teams chemistry or the player's personality badges.
-Records will be kept for the mode

This is a long process of at least 18 hard fought games and should be rewarded as such. I'm thinking a "Championship Pack"
                        This pack would include:
                        - 4 team items
                        - A high level player
                        - In ultra rare cases you could even pull a promotional card, like an extra upcoming moments player, or a black market item, like a diamond shoe
The player will be at least 87 overall, and will be a special edition of that given player. By special edition I just mean moments, collections, etc. This card will be completely sellable as well.
-FINALLY, THIS IS THE BIG IDEA FOR ME
Reward these God-Card unrealistic diamonds to the best players. If you sweep "The-Playoffs", all 16 games, you get a diamond of your choice. 2k gives you a form after completing the feat and you choose the player, any of the numbers or accessiories he wore in his career, and your choice of 20 gold badges with 10 open slots. This card is also sellable. To me, this gives people an ultimate goal to work for and adds depth. The content is therefore being created and driven by the community, not by third party website. I don't think these unrealistic diamonds should be released, but if someone works hard enough and they want a god version of their favorite player, let it be.

This mode creates a more realistic experience, it is infinitely repeatable with varied awards, it adds a real team building aspect, levels the playing field with the overall restriction, and it just seems like an all-around fun way to let the players drive the content more.

That's my big idea, but I agree with most of your guys ideas, especially juicing the collector rewards at the expense of sacrificing your collection.
For instance: -Current 76ers = Moments Okafor
                        -Dynamic 76ers = Erving
                        - 76ers Historic Franchise = Moments Wilt (100 pt game)

To offset 2k's $ loss of some people being able to actually acquire a good team, they should go after the MT sellers. People will always want good cards, they will have to buy them off the players who earn them, or make mt the traditional ways through buying packs and playing the game.

                        What do you all think?

I like the idea of a playoff tournament mode but a couple of problem I have with it would be that

                          1. It'd be hard to get someone to commit to doing a best of 5 if they got blown out of the 1st and/or 2nd game or something like that and hard to get 2 people who don't know each other to link up and play 5 times. You didn't really touch on whether this is what you meant but just saying. It would have to be a best of 5 series verse multiple random opponents, otherwise you are running the risk of someone winning having played far less than it should take or people not able to finish their series.

                          2. I have, like I'm sure countless others here have, played through the 1st seed many of times and I honestly don't think winning 4 series of best of 5s against the same type of guys I play in the 1st seed would warrant me getting an amethyst or diamond player. I'd really like some small MT reward 5-10k. Also 2k would never give out those type of players regularly regardless of what they did to ''deserve'' it anyway.

                          3. I think you should have to beat the 1st to get in. Once you are eliminated or even win the tournament you have to beat the 1st seed again or maybe even start back at the 3rd seed for example and then work your way back up to get into it again. Having people start at the 3rd seed of RttP if they got eliminated in the 1st or 2nd round of the tournament would make for some risk in joining it and a journey to get back if you do.

Just my opinions on how it could work or how I'd like to see it be done

On point #1, I don't mean play against the same person... but just regular matchmaking. It would also be a best of 7, not 5.

On point #2, the diamonds would be extremely rare, and the amethysts would be relatively rare. For us it wouldn't be too bad, but for the casual gamer it'd be a different story. I rarely face anyone now who has Ewing, and he wouldn't be too hard to get eventually, at least you would think anyways. 18-30 games seems like a lot of gameplay time to me, and there could be a penalty for quitting.

On point #3, the more I think about it I like your idea better of making it after you beat the one seed, but then again matchmaking times could be a pain.

As mentioned above by a few others I would really love to see my lineups MyTeam Career stats:
I wanna know how many MyTeam points my Gold Marc Gasol has earned over his journey in Domination Mode. I'm sure this wouldn't be hard to implement. It would just make this awesome game mode a little better IMO.

                              Contracts:
Why can't we hold more than 10 of each type? I'm at the stage now going through the Challenges where all my go to guys are out of contract and I need to pay to get them on the court. I think back to all those contracts I had to sell off. Make contract slots more than 10 - even 20 per type would do.

                              Black Market:
Better rewards and better ways of getting the runes. I hate having to go through and check a card for the rune by turning it at every angle. Was fun at first but now it sucks. The chances of getting all the runes are near impossible.
