    All new computer cheese

So the CPU used all its timeouts for the first half. They run the ball on 3rd and 6 from my 30 with 16 seconds left so they can't even spike after this. The RB is tackled with 10 seconds left (and ticking). Within a blink of an eye they are lined up for a field goal with 6 seconds left and kick it to end the first half.

I tell ya I don't even know why I play this game sometimes.

That's why using the hurry up is actually slower. You can select a play faster than it takes to line up to spike the ball.

To fix this, if you huddle and/or change units after a play with the clock running, the clock should "accelerate" at least 15 seconds.

It's probably in the game because EA prioritized being able to play games quickly with little wait time over late-game realism, but the fix above should accomplish both objectives.

Runoff is in the game as an option, the problem is that for some reason they disable it in the last two minutes.

This was the computer on offense so I had no options in managing the clock

Right... they disable it in the last 2 minutes to allow people the option to either run clock or hurry up based on the game situation. There are some situations where the game can't know for sure what the user intends to do. Say you're down 3 and driving on the opponent's side of the field with less than 2 minutes left... You may want to run the hurry up to ensure you have time to run as many plays as possible, or you may want to start draining clock because you don't want to score too soon.

The game knows exactly what you are planning to do.

If you hold triangle it denotes you intend to run hurry up and it rushes you to the line.

If you don't denote that then you've instead chosen to huddle.

No reason for it to be disabled in the final two minutes.

I've Noticed That To. Takes Way Less Time To Call a Play & Line Up Then It Does Doing Hurry Up

I've been wishing for this for years...acc clock should absolutely still be in play under 2 minutes in each half. It simulates being in the huddle...well if a team is driving at the end of the half, and they are huddling, guess what? They lose a ton of time. This is where you'd run no huddle, and use your timeouts & the sidelines.

As it is, I can get the ball with a minute left on the clock at my own 20, huddle after every play, and still get into easy FG range at the least, if not the TD itself. Acc clock under 2 minutes would force everyone (including the cpu) to play realistically when driving before halftime or end of game.

Ultimately, it should be an option. Acc Clock, Full Acc Clock, Disabled. That would make everyone happy I think.

They should just have real time player substitutions. Then you don't need to simulate any time.

I experienced the same thing and I lost the game. Drove me nuts. No workaround to my knowledge.

I think they should fix this by changing the run off/clock accelerator to a lower default setting.

This issue happened in exibtion or CFM mode?
Problems like this i have noticed in exibtion mode.
Seems to me when i am playing season games the CPU get more inteligent in situations like that

You're expecting a "video game" with 1.5 teraflops of compute power to mimic real life? If you're expecting human intelligence...i'd say its time for you to hang up the gamepads and find a new hobby.

Just enjoy the game for the fun of this hobby instead of complaining over trivial issues.
