My League hiring a coach

What am I missing when trying to hire a coach? I give them max money and they always reject!! Any tips?

Honestly, just keep trying at the end of the season. Make an offer at the last day and hope they accept.

Most coaches that are already on teams as a head coach won't leave, so you have to hope they get fired. You can probably steal an assistant or two.

I don't know how 2K handles coaching. I could be the best team in the league and most coaches in the pool will reject my offer. I end up signing whomever I can, then edit his ratings to the guy I really wanted because I have no time to figure it out.

I also read some where that you can try to pull a coach or assistant coach from another team! I still have not figured out what to do to make this happen. However this did happen to me once from the CPU end I received a pop up notification saying that a team was interested in my coach!

Also wondering if anyone knows in My League if changing the coaches grades to higher grades affects how the team plays? I wish there were badges for coaches like in MY GM. But I left that mode because I like to have more control miss the RPG element though!

How can you find real coaches, like Thibs? I was trying to hire him for the Wolves, but he's not in the candidates pool. Aggravating. I'd prefer to hire a real coach instead of genrich dudes.

Not available to us. I guess 2K has a way of adding them, but we cannot hire them. Even fired coaches are gone from the game entirely.

Hopefully 2K will recognize this oversight and perhaps rectify it for next game.
