The only one I thought of was the 3+1 rule that I saw somewhere on here before, where I can only resign three players (can use the franchise tag on another player), but must let everyone else walk. Is there any other house rules you guys use?

Do you guys use any house rules for CFM?
With the new update out, I finally decided to start a few franchises in Madden 16 and was trying to figure out any house rules that I could possibly use to make it slightly tougher on me. Not anything too difficult, just make it difficult enough that I'll stay interested.

Some play with a no switch rule on defense meaning you stick with one player on a particular play. Also not chesseing the play calling with the same plays like hb toss and four vertical routesFollow on Twitch: Brooklynbk4

Re: Do you guys use any house rules for CFM?
On offense & defense, I always pick the first play that pops up under "suggestions", as I like to pretend it's the call from a coordinator. My exceptions to this are:
1. When the game gives me the same play twice in a row on offense, or a money play (I go to play #2 in this case).
2. If it's 4th & inches & the suggestion is to kick a 50-yarder with wind against me
3. If it suggests I come out in a goal line defense on 4th, but the computer lines up with 4-wide.
I find this keeps games challenging. So far in year 4, I've had score of 13-10, 7-3, 32-31, 28-24, etc. All over the place & I'm 5-3 on default all-pro (I've changed penalty sliders, though).
In CFM itself, I control all 32 but I found out inadvertantly that this causes the cpu to automatically accept any trade I propose (like the lowest rated FA for a 1st round pick, for example). So I never trade. I re-sign my players (provided they accept my offer), but I don't bid on free agents. I only build through the draft.
Oh, and I user catch every pass. I think those are my house rules.
