I can already tell pack odds in this game is garbage .Jesus Devs now in days should know if you give customers reason and insentive to open packs you'll make more money smh!!

Well, I did get a diamond in one of my 30 preorder standard packs but that was about it. One diamond and no golds.

I prefer the pack odds to not be good. Otherwise its like every other year when everyone has the same cards and everyone has an all-century type team.

I'd much rather have opening the packs to have some meaning.

This. If I want a great card, I know it's likely to be through the market.

Last year, I got like nothing in my packs. Never once got a diamond. Only got a couple golds.

My final DD team?

C - Yogi Berra
1B - Rod Carew
2B - Dustin Pedroia
3B - Brooks Robinson
SS - Manny Machado (Moved from 3B)
OF - Ted Williams, Jason Heyward, Ted Williams

BN - A-Rod, Chris Davis, Russell Martin, Brett Gardner

SP - Jose Fernandez, Felix Hernandez, Nolan Ryan, DD player (99 overall), Gerrit Cole
RP - Craig Kimbrel, Koji Uehara, Mark Melancon, AJ Ramos, and a bunch of decent options, including a side armer, and a LOOGY

My team had lots of alternatives too, so I never felt like I was locked into playing bad players.

I got almost all of those players through the market, and almost none of them from a pack (I think I got Davis and Gardner in packs and that is it)

This year I'll probably do it again.

I like when packs don't give everything up front because then it takes a little effort to build a high level team that everyone goes "ugh" when playing against.

I like the fact that good cards are actually rare.

I don't spend my actual money on them, though.

I was extremely lucky last year with my first day pulls. I got a diamond Cano and bat and like six golds in my anniversary bundle. So of course I assumed the packs opening day were nerfed to add players into circulation, but I was proven wrong this year lol. Thirty packs and one gold and like four silvers. Luckily I got saved with degrom in the rookie pack and Adam Jones as my loyalty reward and Crawford in my opening day pack. I'm now up to 25k. I guess this is a good thing though because had I gotten anything decent I would've wasted it all on more packs lol. I guess it's not a complete waste because packs are still somewhat profitable since silvers and bronze card still go for some stubs. I was hoping it was gonna be like last year where cards were overpriced a week into the game but I think that was because it was its first year and now more people know what to expect

The packs by in large became nerfed after the first month. What has changed is the system itself. Everything you get in pack rewards some part of the system. So if you get 10 of the same batting glove, it counts as 10 in the equipment missions. With the digital deluxe, I cleared the bronze and silver equipment missions and gold is in sight, 15 left.

That's better than anyone else I have heard of this year. I got 1 diamond and no golds and still consider myself lucky.

Damn, wish I got that haul. I didnt pull a single gold between my pre-order bonus's and MVP edition content.

Well I haven't purchase any packs out of my pre order...but I am juiced I got a Hunter Pence gifted to me as I was browsing through the menu!
