There is no way everyone gets the same thing, or else that would completely kill the market for each player one by one.

I just got Mark Melancon. I'm pretty happy since I needed a closer bad since my bullpen is all bronze players.

I got a "Diamond" Chris Sale the second day I turned the game on. It just so happened to be my birthday! What a present!

At first I was so excited, but then I realized I could get a ton of stubs for him. The deciding factor was that I had him as my #1, and with the random pitcher selector, I never got to use him. After 10 games of getting shafted, I ended up getting 42,000 stubs for him. That was a big help, but the odds of getting him, or any other Diamond level player are way to high.
