How to Set Up 30 Team Control
 

With a OSFM releasing tonight, a lot of people will be starting their franchise tonight. Some people may want to use 30 team control to create a more realistic baseball universe. 2 years ago, OSer HustlinOwl put out a very helpful video on how to set up 30 team control. Here it is:

Does this correct the issue where you sim spring training and the rosters and depth charts get totally FUBAR or do we still have to correct those even with 30 team control?

I haven't tried this yet because I haven't set up a franchise in 16 yet, but my assumption is yes the rosters could change once you advance to the regular season.

You'll have to set the 25 man rosters yourself if you want them completely accurate. The lineups will change regardless once you start simming games (notice that your own lineup changes if you straight sim a game) so it's gonna be tough to keep that perfectly replicated.

So even if i have all teams roster control set to manual (lineups etc) and i sim the spring training the lineups will change no matter what?

The lineup for each individual game probably will. They may stick to the designed lineup the majority of the time (I can't answer that with any confidence as I don't bother with CPU team lineups), but I know they will change from time to time.

If you think about it, when you sim a game with your own team (or your MiLB teams), your lineup changes for that game.
