Playbook doesn't seem to stick?
I need help. I am new to using playbooks in myteam so I might just do it wrong. I have been using freelance offense for the most part and now want to mix it up with a couple of plays from the warriors playbook. Problem is - the GSW Plays don't show up, even though I set it in franchise. I tried the phoenix playbook. Same result. Some other playbook shows up.
Maybe I am doing something wrong here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!Tags: None -
Re: Playbook doesn't seem to stick?
Theres couple of thing you can do.
1. Choose playbook and a coach from a same team, it works for some.
2. Manually re-check every item in the franchise just before you start every
game. You will see that some items get switched for no reason. It works
100% for me personally -

Re: Playbook doesn't seem to stick?
This is frustrating. Not even sure what playbook is on. Im using flow and warriors as alternating freelance offenses but sometimes I would like to run one or two of the warriors three point plays. I even practiced them in practice Mode. Then nothing in my team.Comment

Re: Playbook doesn't seem to stick?
Oh, then I might know what your problem is. The MT playbook for the Warriors hasn't been updated, so it doesn't include the 3 point plays czar added during the season. All MT playbooks are the ones the game has shipped with. You won't be able to run those plays in MT, unfortunately.Comment

Ah interesting. One of the plays is Quick 42 Quick. Can anyone confirm they are new gsw plays? Thanks.Comment

Re: Playbook doesn't seem to stick?
The playbook not sticking in online games has been a problem all year. Many people swear by using the same coach or by resetting the book in franchise before every game works. However, I have tried all the superstitions and no matter what I do, some games I don't have my plays.
I used to run so many plays methodically and knew my playbook inside and out. But being so play dependent I became super crippled whenever my book didn't load in that it was almost a guaranteed loss.
Then I started experimenting with different freelances and found some I liked and work well with different rotations I use and became much more accustomed to playing games without calling plays. Now when I go into an online game if my playbook loads it is a bonus but if it's not there I can still generate offense without it.
Shame, the kind of standards that 2k has set, 'if the playbook loads it is a bonus', totally unacceptable and should have been fixed immediately when the problem was found.Comment
