Submissions..
Can someone with some insight or more experience explain these for me? Example.. Smashing them with leg kicks, complete red, limping etc. I go for the takedown, stacked guard, heel hook ON the injured leg... And I struggle to stop them from escaping.. Usually they get out as their escape gate moves too fast for them having 0 stamina and already red limb.. End up with a leg tko after stand up... Check their stats and they have a 59 ovr for ground to my 73.. Not a huge difference but shouldn't the overall, stamina and limb damage make it a lot hard to get out of a sub?Tags: None -

Latency man. Their gates should be filling slowly like that. Even with just a basic sub.Can someone with some insight or more experience explain these for me? Example.. Re: Submissions..
Yeah kinda makes it pointless to try and be realistic with subs by damaging the limb you wanna break first... Damaged or fresh it seems to move at the same speedComment

Re: Submissions..
Hard to say really. You have to test it out offline. I did the same sub twice. Once when the CPU didn't have any damage, and once when it did. The sub was a lot easier on the damaged limb, and I even had less stamina. If you watch a sub, it will redden the area. So I do think it plays a part. At least from my experience.@bikingforjesus on InstagramComment

Pretty sure I read a post from GPD saying what I originally stated. Could be wrong though. Honestly hope I am.Hard to say really. You have to test it out offline. I did the same sub twice. Re: Submissions..
It could have just been coincidence. However, I don't see why they would redden the area and not make it easier if that limb was damaged. Say you have a leg with 90% damage. When you are doing the sub, it actually adds damage. Say a sub does 20% damage. Why wouldn't that make it easier to do? Does the system say, "It is okay to go over 100% damage if it is a sub." This game has a 100% system. They have to put a value to it or matches would last forever. If you look at the paper doll after a match, the damage is shown and it equals 100%.
If GPD says it doesn't, then I am wrong. I would take his word for it.@bikingforjesus on InstagramComment

Re: Submissions..
Ya I'd love to hear from him or someone else with the true know how... To me it makes no sense.. Same with arms, your arm is red and you can't even block, go for an arm bar and it seems like there is no difference.. Head is red, go for rear naked or guillotine and same thing...Comment

Re: Submissions..
Just had a strange online fight today. My opponent in UT tried to get several submissions on me. I was able to get them off all the time. Then somewhere in the third round he was on side control and pulled of a 5* Kimura without ANY stamina at all, while I was nearly full. The gates were so slow, that I feel, he did not even need to block them. I was complete unable to escape, although I catched the green chain before him. Never felt that helpless...Comment

Yeah, that sucks. It is basically a free win when your stats are so low.Just had a strange online fight today. My opponent in UT tried to get several submissions on me.
