I'm assuming there is absolutely no way to get past this correct? I just wanted to have a draft roster and start a Franchise without issue, but I see that's not the case [emoji1418]

Actually, you can but it's not easy and there's no rhyme or reason to it. When u get enough XP to change attributes, you can go through the offseason and change position and change them back. SOMETIMES, that will change their scheme. The change will be random though if it happens at all...

That is very interesting, It is very sneaky of EA to do this but I am sure it was on purpose so that people can not do the draft with rookies.Actually, you can but it's not easy and there's no rhyme or reason to it. I have also noticed how stated above that every player is set to balanced scheme. This is one thing that really needs to be addressed like nba 2k. Also not updating the qb throw styles in how long is absurd they still have players in there from years ago, I know they are only allowed so many which I have no idea why since they got the rights.NINERS FAN SINCE 96Comment

Hit up Rex and the guru last night to let them know about the issue, they said they thanks for letting them know, they did not know about it but they will take care of it. I also asked if it could be patched for 16 and rex said probably not but it will be going forward, he also told me to start letting the CFM guy know about it, lol must be sick of me hitting him up.NINERS FAN SINCE 96Comment

This is why we need to be allowed to edit everything. I understand the need to lock things for online play, but my 100% offline CFM should not have to suffer. Not sure how being able to edit ratings and traits can have a negative impact since I could upgrade them through the XP feature.Relax, it's just a video game!Comment

Hmm they didn't?? If that's their story lol...
How about just jacking up the xp slider to max for a season, then you can fix confidence and dev trait maybe? Then do the position swap and swap back and sometimes the scheme will change.Comment

He is saying things like raising confidence, or taking the XP up to 300% so that you get an overwhelming amount of XP to fix the things you desire to be fixed, development traits etc.
Personally I could care less if a players scheme matches, I play 32 man CFM, and have seen no issues AT ALL. I draft, sign, and develop the attributes that best suit what I'm looking to do.
Some say it matters (even saw a very vague confirmation from a dev quote), but outside inflating or deflating the overall I don't see anything worth worrying about unless you are OCD.The Impact of User vs User Sliders In CFM 5.0*

You would think they would have made Trait & Consistency and setting the scheme options when you create a player. Then again CAP has been the same for so many years, it's pretty much an afterthought.Comment
