So What is the end game in UT?

We all delete fighters constantly to catch up to guys who have spent hundreds of bucks? Then get to Divisions 6-8 and struggle to find fights?

I still really enjoy UT...sucks only being 80-82 ovr but it just gives me more incentive to keep grinding.

I'm guessing nothing in regards to UT. They announced the leaderboard thing. If they want to fix it either you delete a fighter you go back to that Division when you create a new one. Or take ALL cards away. But at the end of the day guys dropping hundreds of bucks won't care what you do I don't think.
It is what it is. My highest fighter is 72 I think. I simply don't have 40 hours a week of free time...

Again for the salty crowd out there......you can only delete ONE fighter per 24 hrs and it only takes a few fights to be in Div 2 and only a few more to be in Div 3 if you win them all so all of this talk about people deleting fighters is null and void. Not pre patch when you could delete fighters whenever you wanted and as many times as you wanted then I could see this being an issue but not so much anymore. I personally delete a fighter every now and then depending on the cards I get and if I want to try a different style or strategy. That option needs to be left available. But ONE per 24 hrs is hardly an issue IMO.

Well how many fights is a person going to have in 24 hours? I play an hour a night if I have time. But apparently ppl.who have 2000 online fights have alot more spare time than me. So I really don't think the 24 hour thing changes much tbh...

It means that if someone deletes a fighter they are only going to have 4-5 fights in Div 1 before moving on and another 5-6 before being in Div 3. So it is very much effective. And yes the people with thousands of fights must not have a life and are the exception to the rule. Thankfully there are not many of them.

To further prove my point I just fought a guy with a 98 OVR with 99 Stand up, 97 clinch, 98 ground, and maxed out athleticism and I beat him in 24 secs with my 80 OVR fighter......his record was 690-2873. So as you can see that OP fighters doesn't necessarily mean they know how to play the game perse. You need skill to go along with your stats to be successful. I'm pretty sure it takes more than 5 fights to get out of division 2. But either way while it might only be 10 fights in those 2 divisions, you aren't the only one using a throwaway fighter.

If you times that 10 fight but the number of higher div people using a throw away fighter you quickly end up with the newer or less skilled people in those divisions getting beat on my fighters with more experience and an overall advantage.

While I don't blame anyone using a throw away fighter, I can understand the appeal and I imagine fighting the same people over and over at the higher divisions would get boring. Something needs to be done because right now it's really tough to get out of the first two divs when you first start. That something doesn't need to penalise the people using throwaway fighters. Creating a star cap in the first div would at least make the overalls closer. Or giving the fighter on the lower side of the overall differwnce slightly more coins would be small steps that would make it easier to get to the point where the new people had enough coins to be competitive.

But in essence that is punishing the people who have been grinding since the game came out. If they don't wanna grind like the rest of us in online then that is precisely why there is the single player mode. Go grind in there until you feel comfortable trying your hand at online. I believe the current system is more than fair since they implemented the 24 hr rule. If they did a star cap next thing people are gonna cry about is wanting to cap the cards you can use in Div 1 and 2 to 3* only because they are getting lit up by 5* moves. This type of crying happens in literally every single sports game. Just leave it the way it is. There are much worse gameplay issues needing to be addressed rather than wasting precious resources and time on this nonsense.

How on earth is that punishing the people who have been playing since the start. Your not losing anything or going down a div. You just can't use div 1 to grind with high overall new fighters. It's literally just levelling the playing field. There is nothing to stop your grinding in the higher divs. All it does is stop you using your card advantage to brutalise the new people. You'll still probably win all those fight with an equal overall since you have more experience but it gives the newer guys more of a chance.

Like I said when the new guys are getting lit up with 5* moves the whining and crying will turn to something else. Point being no matter whether they implemented something like this or not the complaints will NEVER end.

No they won't. The five star moves themselves aren't what's making the difference. It's the massive overall differences you can get. Plus with a star cap you have to chose between that one 5 star or a 2 star and a 3 star.

Will it solve everything no, but it will make it fairer than it currently is. And stop calling everybody whined when they object to you using an exploit to beat on people who are just starting

Hey, I face this guy 3 times in Div 1 with my 68 OVR Heavyweight. I beat him one time. Surprised he was still in Div 1 with that record.

The End Game is to keep building your fighters and whooping as much *** as you can

What else do you want, 32-man raids or something ???

                              lol jk jk

This leaderboard fix will help some.

But overall there is no end game in these fighting games...just keep getting better, then logoff and live your life. Rinse and repeat. Come to the forums to try and help UFC 3 be a better game. etc
