Can someone please explain how Feeding missions work?

Never really understood them, new to the game. Do you just feed players from certain teams, and how many?

First thing you do is complete the innings requirement for a specific team to receive the initial reward and open up the mission to embody the bigger reward player. After you open up that mission, you'll see the embody reward on you mission list. From that point, you will feed your created player cards from that specific team. the percentages seem to average out to be....
Gold - 10%
Silver 5%
Bronze 3%
Common 1/3%

These percentages drop for dupes.

Ive completed 3 so far. I didnt know what I was doing on the first one & spent way too many stubs on the feed. On the last two, (Gwynn and Ichiro) I put in bids and picked up 2 of every silver and bronze from there respective teams and one of each common. In both cases, it got me to 100%. With Ichiro, I even had 3 silvers to spare. Depending on the cost of a specific teams silvers & bronzes, you should be able to do most "feed" players for about 4-6k if you put in reasonable buy offers and wait.

btw before you start racking up innings...first you have to conquer that teams stronghold in conquest mode

So you can buy and feed the same player more than once, but the % drops the second time you feed the same player?

Did you complete the 40 man roster mission first before doing the Mariners? Or you didn't care and just fed away to get Ichiro.

For Ichiro, I bought one of each common & 2 of each silver & bronze. Its a lot easier than you'd think!
In fact, I did a card by card breakdown of a "Feed" mission I comppleted last night for 93 ovr Billy Wagner. My numbers earlier in this thread where off appearently the overall rating of a player plays a bigger part than I expected.

9 common Astros 4%
9 bronze Astros 17%
duplicates of the same 9 bronze Astros 15%
Silver Mike Fiers 4%
Silver Collin McHugh 6%
Silver Lance McCullers 8%
Silver Doug Fister 7%
Silver Jake Marisnic 4%
Silver Colby Rasmus 4%
Silver Evan Gattis 4%

Just feed him cards of players from the specific team of the player that you are trying to unlock

Thanks, This helped a lot. Didn't care for Seattle's 40 man mission at the moment so I got Ichiro finally , Guess Seattle's 40 man will be the last mission I do now lol. On to Tony Gwynn!

Currently doing the Brewers feed, Fed all the cards minus Braun + a couple of extra bronze cards and that only got me to 42% Should I buy more silvers or a bunch of bronzes?

You'll honesty have to do some math to figure out what is more cost effective. Typically I just buy about 30 of the cheapest silver player from the team I'm doing the feed for. Personally, I've never had any sort of issue with them all being dupes.

Brewers are a lot harder than most though because the silver prices are really inflated.

Bronzes are going to be more time consuming to feed since it takes so many, but it's slightly cheaper than doing silvers in my experience. Most people would rather pay a slight premium for silvers to save time though.
