Who will be your CFM team in madden 17 and how will you improve them?

Just wondering what team will you be playing with in 17.
How will you go about getting them better and who will you trade?
What positions will you build through the draft or is FA your way to go, let me know.

Niners
Look for WRs and better CB
Trade kaep and brock and bethea.
Hope to draft a QB or find one in FA if they are 83 or higher look for a pocket passer.
Hope hyde works out at hb or will be looking for a new back also.

I was going to use the Cowboys but since they are my favorite team I probably wouldn't be able to part with any of the players. So it's down to four teams right now and they are the Browns, Jets, Bears, and Falcons. I'll probably make my decision when the game is about to come out.

I haven't seriously played Franchise mode in Madden since Madden 2004/05 on PS2 and it was my favorite mode. I'm really hoping the new improvements this year will bring it up to a level where I can actually be bothered with it. If so, I'm running with my Cowboys, the Browns, Falcons, Titans.

I plan on using the Jags after their great off-season. I'm not sure how I need to improve them, but I'd like to make the playoffs year one.

Shouldn't you wait to at least hear what mechanisms will be available towards improving a team/player in the mode?

Or maybe ask the mod's to move it to the roster section since that's basically what the topic of this thread would be founded around.

Just would be nice to not have to scroll through a bunch of new threads just to get to any new game information being released.

Jags are high on my list. but being a Cowboys fan I cant pass on a solid 5 years with Zeke, and Development of Prescott will be my main focus.

The two I always start off with are a franchise with my team, the Falcons and a project team. This year the project team (if defense is actually addressed in the way it has been promised) the Jaguars. I always like to keep my roster as stock as possible for the first year and only make changes as need like injuries, I usually start making my big changes when offseason Free Agency and the draft hit, though I prefer to build through the draft and only use free agency sparingly.

For the Falcons, my biggest concern that needs to be addressed are on the lines. I'm going to draft two guards and let Andy Levitre and Chris Chester go into free agency. I'll probably do this within two years. Chester will be the first to go as he is 32 years old where as Levitre is 29. Next in going to look at replacing Johnathon Babineaux within the first year, at 33 years old. I also at some point want to install a pass rusher at RE but Derrick Shelby will do fine for now. I'm going to spend all my assets towards building up De'Vondre Campbell and Deion Jones. Both of them along with Courtney Upshaw (who I might use as a 3rd down defensive end) and a hopefully healthy Weatherspoon can solidify the linebacker position which has needed to be addressed for awhile. I also, within the first two years, want to bring in a nickle corner, as Jalen Collins hasn't seemed to pan out and I also want to bring in a #2 receiver to play across from Julio so I can move Sanu to slot as I think he will have more success working on the inside against the nickle and linebackers. I'm also going to give Austin Hooper a year to see how he develops to see if I want to add another TE that can be a more reliable piece on the passing game.

The Jaguars on the other hand I feel will be a much more fun project. With the addition of Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack (who I will let sit out a year to heal and develop), to the cast of Dante Fowler, Malik Jackson, Sen'derrick Marks, Telvin Smith, Tashaun Gipson, and Johnathon Cyprien will certainly make for a very fun defense and make for some great defensive scheming. I'll give Blake Bortles another year to prove he can be a franchise quarterback before I decide if I want to go in another direction there. I'll also probably start TJ Yeldon over Ivory and use Ivory as a goaline back. In the first year I plan on completely revamping the entire offensive line, I'm suspect about just about every position except Brandon Linder at center who is young enough that he has room for improvement. I'm also going to be looking for a MLB to replace Posluszny but only after I am able to find another corner back who will fit in at Nickle as I don't quite trust Aaron Colvin.

I'll play as the Pats I always do. Go with Brady until he retires which my guess is after year one or two in madden. With that said I'll be developing garoppolo to take over. I also try and develop a young rb and wr. The defense is all set for now with you(except contract wise), but I'm hoping the resigning process isn't too crazy or difficult.

I might try to do another franchise with my son with a random team or fantasy draft and he can control the offense and I'll run the defense.

Lions for sure.

Have some good pieces, I think time is what we need to be successful. A lot of the team is young but there are some vets that still have value.

I only play as browns and this past draft we added some good players.

I don't useally mess with rosters as I like to keep them as real as the NFL season.

I may look to get another rb since that's only area we didn't address in draft.

What do you plan on doing with Brissett?

I'll probably move Garoppolo for picks "Cassel/Mallett" style and let Jacoby take over after a couple of years.
