    Geoff Collins Florida defense scheme

Does anyone have any insight on Geoff Collins Florida Gators defensive scheme? I want to attempt to emulate it as closely as possible.

Are they more of a 4-3 stack, over, or under front team on base downs? What is his base pass coverage (i.e. cover 2, 2 man, cover 1, cover 3, etc).

Thanks in advance to all who may post.

They're very fond of twists/stunts and blitzing. He's very emphatic and stresses TFLs. He lines his DTs on the outside shoulder or directly over the guards. (even spacing.)

According to Ian Boyd, they played Cover 6 on standard downs and brought pressure (lots of zone blitzes) on obvious pass downs.

I can't speak to his preferred alignments without doing some serious film study first.

Base nickel - lots of stunts and man coverage with the CBs. He has one of the safeties outside of the TE near the LOS often. DEs aren't the types to sell out for the pass-rush, but look run first. DTs seem to take turns getting penetration and the other clogging the middle.
