    How to defend Backdoor cuts?

In Teamup and pro am? The ball is literally going through me constantly . On steals or I get pushed out of the way by a forcefield.

Its all about timing and anticipation. You really have to look at whoever is passing the ball to the guy on the backdoor cut. Usually when your cause disruption on the passes they will more than likely slow down.

Lol if 2K decides they want you to steal it then you can steal it, but I don't know if there's a consistent way to steal lead passes in this game.

Your best bet would be to just let them catch the ball and bring some help defense over to protect the paint.

Bro, I feel your pain. Im with a group of guys who regularly run team ups, and it feels 80% of points scored are off forced lead passes.

I used to play a lot of teamup. The first months were fun, but nowadays most of the points come from:

          Half court offense:
          - People run in circles hoping their defender gets stuck or has a clear path for a lead pass.

          - Lead pass to center for the standing dunk under basket.

          - Pump fake under basket.

          - Occasional guy that is left open.

          Fastbreak:

          - Cherry pickers

Also spacing is pretty bad, most of the players are so fast that can cross the court in no more than two seconds lol.

If you are getting toasted by backdoor cuts you are probably defending too close to the player. When it happens once, anticipate it happening over and over

What about when I get tipped pass in the teammate grade but the ball still goes through ?

Go in the paint and hold your nuts.

Drawing charges on paint abusers works almost every time.

                      Stop going for the steal.

Meet them at the rim and contest the shot.

You won't get the off-ball charge if they are receiving the pass. Only if they are turbo and have decent momentum.

I could do that. I just hate sometimes even when I meet them at the basket the game slides me out of the way. And this is with assists at 0.

Lol tried this the other night.

Had I not set that charge, Harden would have definitely caught that pass and pushed me out of the way.
