I play on Broadcast and love it. I'm used to it now. Been doing it for about 3 years.Comment

Re: Anyone play on broadcast camera? Absolute or camera relative?
I use camera relative. Occasionally I'll shoot a floater when I meant to do a euro-step, but for the most part, it's just easier for me to point where I want my player to shoot/dribble the ball. I really love that 2K added this as an option years ago. I like camera relative, but my friend prefers absolute. It's nice that we can set it however we want.Comment

Yep. Absolute. Helps me do exactly what I want to do because it's always the same way. Camera relative def gets tricky.

So absolute up means hands up at all times and down means contest the shot? Or is it reversed like most things?Comment

Right. Absolute is always the same no matter the camera angle.

I am not sure what you mean. When trying to contest a shot? I only use up on the RS to contest a shot unless I have to press Y to jump which is rare.

Re: Anyone play on broadcast camera? Absolute or camera relative?
I should have been more clear, but yes left and right when contesting a shot. Do you feel that using absolute keeps you out of foul trouble when defending the post?Comment

Re: Anyone play on broadcast camera? Absolute or camera relative?
Yeah, I only use up on the RS to contest a shot.
No. I never thought that using absolute settings kept me out of foul trouble when defending in the post. Maybe it could since you always know that RS up is hands up. But the thing that keeps me out of foul trouble when defending the post or paint period is letting go of the LT and putting your hands up.

Re: Anyone play on broadcast camera? Absolute or camera relative?
I agree, absolute is the best way to defend. I also change my defensive assistance depending if I'm online or not. Oh and I change the auto contest to manual instead of default.Comment
