Madden 16: ? For Offline Franchise Players

Just saw that Madden 16 is on the cheap. Haven't really played Madden that much on X1 but played ALOT of franchise on 360.

Should I pick up 16 or do you think there will be significant improvements in 17, especially in offline franchise that I should wait for?

    Appreciate the feedback!

Only a month and change left for 17. Since you don't have 16 already, the practice squad, play the moment, editable players, etc would be worth waiting for.

If your strapped on cash, then 16 would Scratch the itch.

The CFM upgrades are needed, but not revolutionary.

If you are on Xbox, spend $5 and get EA Access. The game is free on there.

Yeah good points. Was concerned also about the franchise being playable right out of the box or will you have to wait for a patch or two to drop before it's working right?

No one knows the mode will require a patch day one. But in the past, I haven't warranted the game completely unplayable at launch.

Usually I'm messing around in CFM learning playbooks, schemes, navigating, etc until Jarodd sliders are released and Week 1 line ups are set.

Edit: But like Aholbert Said. Depending on how much 16 cost, spending $5 monthly (you may have a free trial)
for a month or two could be the better option. And 17 if bought from xbox store would be a little cheaper.

This is exactly why I'd go the EA Access route. Play 16 for the next month and change plus you'll get like 10 hours of M17 prior to release to try it out and then I'd give it a few weeks to see if there's any of those big issues that CFM has had a propensity to have.
