Re: 10 Yard Fight: Around The League
In Buffalo, NY people are already booking February flights and hotels for Houston, TX.
...because it's cold in Buffalo that time of year, and they might get to see their rival Patriots lose to the Packers in the Super Bowl.

Mile High Report: Off-Season Edition
The Denver Broncos, fresh off a Super Bowl win, enter the 2016 Cycle with some high hopes, but also some question marks.
The Broncos were happy to hire veteran coach Jare Bear as their new GM/HC combo. Coach Bear was sure to praise the work of Gary Kubiak and John Elway in his introductory press conference.
"Elway and Kube built a very solid foundation here, I am happy for another chance to return home and lead this talented Denver squad. These fans are the best in the country and this city is ready to explode if we can deliver another deep playoff run. Stay tuned."
Coach Bear, a multiple time NCAA champion, has yet to win a Super Bowl in OS league play.
"Life is about learning from mistakes and using past failures to fuel future success. All I can do is thank the commishes for a chance to compete and hopefully prove my worth as a valuable contributor to the league. Am happy, and lucky, to be here with these fellas."
Team Breakdown - Off-Season Edition
Offense -
The Broncos are all-in on Paxton Lynch at quarterback. Coach Bear has had success with Brock Osweiler in the past and Lynch projects to be Brock Oswiler 2.0 in this offense. Lynch has a cannon and is a very solid athlete, allowing the Broncos to get a little more creative on offense this year. Veteran Mark Sanchez is not expected to take a single snap and will probably not even make the roster.
Rookie Year Projection: 4,000 yards, 26 TDs, 16 INTs
Wide Receiver looks to be a position of strength once again as Broncos have the duo of Demaryius Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders as their top two wideouts. Cody Latimer has been expected to deliver as slot WR but so far has been a bust in his NFL career. Latimer, Bennie Fowler, and Jordan Norwood will all compete for reps at WR3 and WR4. Sanders is entering his contract year with the Broncos and may be looking for a big payday, as he has VASTLY outperformed his contract for the Broncos so far. Denver may possible be looking to make a trade as they cannot afford to pay two receivers with WR1 type money, as DT is already earning elite money (and is probably overpaid, honestly).
Broncos retained C.J. Anderson and while Coach Bear is not super happy with the money given in that contract, he will try to get the most out of him as well as change of pace back Ronnie Hillman who shares Bear's alma mater of San Diego State. Rookie Devontae Booker is a dark horse candidate to steal some carries from Hillman and take over as HB2.
At tight end, last years pre-season pick as breakout star (which never materialized), Virgil Green, enters this year as the starting TE with second year player Jeff Heuerman, who missed his rookie season due to a knee injury, is slotted as TE2, but based on his potential he may take over the starting role within no time. Green is a very athletic tight end, and an outstanding blocker, but has yet to do anything meaningful as a pass catcher. This is a position the Broncos may be looking to improve via trade or free agency. (wink wink)
Honestly the Broncos offensive line was a mess last year and probably will be this year too. They bring in Russel Okung and Donald Stephenson to start at left and right tackle, and the interior will feature Max Garcia at RG most likely. LG position is up for grabs and Matt Paradis may retain his center position from last year depending on his final ratings. When it comes to the o-line, the Broncos are hoping for the best and expecting the worst. In a division that features the likes of Tamba Hali, Melvin Ingram, Khalil Mack, Dontari Poe, and Justin Houston just to name a few, pass protection will be key for the Broncos success.
Stay tuned to the Mile High News Network for all Broncos related news as well as the 2016 defensive breakdown/outlook coming soon!Last edited by The JareBear; 07-25-2016, 02:49 AM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: 10 Yard Fight: Around The League
Texas Has A New Big Three To Rival That Other Team In The Lone Star State
The Houston Texans are coming into the 2016 campaign with great enthusiasm. Coach/GM Michael Sword has a couple of new pieces to hopefully vault the Texans into the post season and play deep into it. QB Brock Oswelier has arrived in Houston with high expectations to become this teams first true franchise QB. The 6'7' gun slinger has already been turning heads in OTA's and with training camp around the corner, he will look to gel with his aresenal of WR's in All-Pro DeAndre Hopkins, Veteran Cecil Shorts III, second year WR Jaelen Strong and exciting and highly touted rookies Will Fuller and Braxton Miller. Also keep an eye out for Keith Mumphry from the Spartans of Michigan State.
At RB former Miami Hurricane and Dolphin Lamar Miller comes in to be the feature back. Miller is a tremendous one cut back with soft hands and blazing track star speed. He never was given the big load in Miami, yet he was able to be one of the most efficient backs in the league with his carries. When Lamar touched the ball 15 times or more; The Dolphins won. Coach Sword has expressed many times already that Miller will be featured and get 17-20 touches....and sometimes more for the Texans. Lamar has also talked about becoming a more physical runner at Texas. One of the biggest misconceptions about Lamar was he was not tough enough between the tackles, yet he was one of the best backs on short yardage situations over the course of his career in Miami. It is clear the Miami coaching staff misused Miller and he will be in line for a career year with the Texans.
Brock is primed to break out and emerge as a top tier QB in 2016
Instead of running away from the Texans Lamar will be running for them in 2016!
Hopkins is primed to be mentioned in the top 3 WR's in the league this upcoming season with Brock at the helm! Now Playing on PS5:

Re: 10 Yard Fight: Around The League
The Bengals get their first win of the season surviving a tough game filled with big plays for both sides.
Coach Bear, former Bronco head coach but now with Cincy, was emotional after the game, and was seen giving his former Bronco players awkwardly long hugs for many minutes following the final whistle. When asked about it, Von Miller simply said "that was kinda weird, man."
All the highlights I was able to record from the post game menu. Next time I will combine them into one clip.
