Career mode, etc. for FIFA 17

Can someone please remind me when we typically get that last big dump of info for the game? I thought I remembered someone saying they typically announce career mode news at some expo, but I can't think of any major events between now and release. I can't remember when they announced the career mode changes last year.

I think it's the same as usual. It's just that it's so much closer to release than other games are that each year it seems odd.

EA didn't officially post about career mode updates last year until September 3.

Not to be a broken record, but I wouldn't expect much. Last year they added pre-season friendly tournaments and skill game "training." And this year there is already the Alex Hunter mode, so that'll probably be the extent of the major additions to offline.

Wow if that's real it could be a huge step forward from 16 with the inclusion of merchandise earnings, manager customization, and expanded board expectations. If this is fake or just a fan mock up, then once again someone has really gone to great lengths to illustrate their wishes (especially with the manager customization); I guess we'll find out once the beta reactions start popping up!

Holy crap those images are sick. That would be so awesome. If someone actually faked those that would take a crazy amount of time. Hopefully its legit. Can't wait for the beta in less than a week.

The optimist in me wants to believe this is real. That's based on that one article that came out in the beginning of the FIFA news cycle that said Frostbite would be shared between games and from what others have said NHL and Madden have some of those features already. So maybe they started the collaboration with FIFA? Fingers crossed.
