Sorry to the guy who beat me last night--my game dropped

He beat me fair and square, but my game disconnected in the later innings. It was a total accident that I'm sure seemed suspicious. I wanted to apologize in case he ever sees it. It was like 9-2 or something in the 8th or 9th inning.

I tried messaging him, but he probably blocked me because he wasn't showing up in the Players Met list. Sorry!

I wish more people played with this type of mentality. I've played in a fair share of lopsided games and I've yet to quit, concede or disconnect. Admittedly, I've been mercied on a couple of occasions because of it. I have yet to mercy anyone myself just because when a game is getting out of hand the opponent ALWAYS quits.

The only time that I will ever quit is in BR if I happen to get my first loss very early into the mode. That's happened to me on a couple occasions, I'll play my next game and quit right when it starts just so I can restart the mode and draft again. It's a free win for the opponent so I don't see anything wrong with it.

I dont get why people quit.. Such sore losers.. Ill concede defeat if im getting beat.. If they dont accept and or continue to run up the score, then ill quit..

People can also choose to automatically block messages from anyone not on their friends list. I wouldn't take it too personal.

I'm fine with someone quitting/conceding, if they're getting beaten down and can't take it anymore. I'm not entitled to waste that person's time more than they feel they will, especially if they see "Oh I'm down 6-0 in the third and don't want to spend 30 more minutes with this"

Before it was annoying because too often the other side would manipulate the network somehow, and I would end up with the L or nothing would get recorded. But if I get the free win, whatever, having to play a game where I'm destroying the other guy isn't all that fun either.

Quitting in this game doesn't bother me compared to something like FIFA when the games only go for 10 or so minutes but 9 innings of baseball can take it's time depending on your patience at the plate so i can understand if I'm up big after 2 why someone would want to quit. Getting rewards makes it a bit better too. I played a guy yesterday who quit after the top of the first when i was up 6-0 and i got Salazar as my post game drop which i flipped for stubs.

I've noticed with the players met the names only show up if a full game is played.

I still have folks quit on me, and 50% of the time they somehow are still getting the freebie win. It's always with that message that so-and-son has lost their connection or whatever that message is--some sort of deliberate disconnection.

Sucks. I think I'm 160-56 right now, and 10-12 of those loses at least are from people doing that to me.

That's really weird. I've played over 400 hundred games online and I've never had something like this happen. I don't doubt that what you're saying is correct, but perhaps there's something wrong with your connection? Maybe your NAT type is moderate or strict and not ideal for p2p gaming? I know that you're not the only one with this issue, but I find it odd that I've never had that happen to me with how much I play.

I've played far less game than you have but I agree. I've never had this problem. I have had players quit and disconnect but I have never received a loss as a result even when it's tied. In return I have never quit and never will. No matter how bad I'm losing I still believe I can make a comeback and on some occasions I have or came up short. I will never admit defeat until the last out of the 9th

I just had it happen again. Check my twitter and reply from Ramone. I followed up.

You should keep this thread for all people who want to say sorry for games dropping. I think it would be a good idea. I just had one. My power went out. The electric company is at my apartment building. Who knows what they are doing. The power just went.
