Cut scenes and closes-ups not needed EA!!!
Some of you can remember years ago when cut scenes was first introduced back when graphics were inferior. Back in the 8 bit era, it was understandable with tecmo bowl and games like double dribble. But in 2016 and superb graphics, do we still need cut scenes and close-ups? My opinion is no!! Madden looks great in its natural state, u can see the details naturally. It's annoying seeing all these close-ups and cut scenes in Madden every 10 seconds.

Re: Cut scenes and closes-ups not needed EA!!!
Is there an option to turn it off tho? Every time their is a play there are close-ups which takes away from the game. NBA2K has this as well showing close-ups every time they scored but u can turn it off. With the graphics we have today I'm not sure why the devs still have this in the game. Close-ups was implemented back when graphics weren't great, they need to get away from past tendencies. We don't need them anymore.Last edited by MadManCometh; 08-23-2016, 11:57 AM.Comment

I'm not sure there is an option to turn them off, no. I understand your frustration, but many people do like having these in the game so I don't see them taking this presentation concept out.Is there an option to turn it off tho? It would be better if you could toggle it on/off at your discretion but it only takes a half second to skip a cutscene.----------------------

you can skip them, but, this is how games are presented on TV. which is what madden is aiming to replicate, and they do it well imoComment

I like the cutscenes. it gives u some immersion and shows off the graphics really well. it connects me with my players. i spend time giving everyone equipment to my liking and making them all different so they have a personality since madden doesnt have sig styles or anything else to differentiate ppl. i like to see this up close. i even play on zoom cam just so i can see the graphics better.
and like everyone else says u can button thru it quickly. i actually wished it was in online more cuz online always feels stripped down cuz theres no real presentation and cutscenes. but i do get how it can annoy someone online who already thinks a gm takes too long.Lets Go:

Try turning presentation to "Quick" and just hold A through everything else.

I disagree. I don't think it replicates a real life presentation, nor do I think it shows off the graphics because I can see almost every detail in the games natural state. Which looks GREAT on its own. To me it just let's me know I'm playing a "video game".I like the cutscenes. it gives u some immersion and shows off the graphics really well. it connects me with my players. i spend time giving everyone equipment to my liking and making them all different so they have a personality since madden doesnt have sig styles or anything else to differentiate ppl. i like to see this up close. i even play on zoom cam just so i can see the graphics better.

They are definitely needed. You don't see the level of detail that you do when you get the close-ups. We see close-ups and cut scenes all the time in real broadcasted football.....literally all the time.Comment

Absolutely love it, I'm the type that skips nothing, 15 min qrts, it's a beautiful game and yes they do this in real life too....there's an option to skip so I don't see what's wrong personally...Comment

Some of them really add to the realism factor but if you don't like them they are very easy to skip. Some of you can remember years ago when cut scenes was first introduced back when graphics were inferior. The most annoying thing is when I drop a 3rddown pass with Mike Evans, then the camera zooms on him and the defender jawing, then cuts to a cut scene on my coach on the side with Mike Evans standing right behind him, then cuts back to real time showing mike Evans on the field.Comment
