I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it is EA after all. EA probably justifies it by saying the last-gen holdouts should just be happy to even get a 2017 version. But dang, by early accounts this is not only the same game as 2016, its the same as 2015 with new rosters. They could at least give us a break and sell it for $29.99 or something.

I have madden 25, is it worth buying '16 off like amazon or ebay or is it bascially the same game?

I do like the primetime intros in '25, does madden 16 have these?
Is the roster share still active on madden 25 or madden 16?
I dont have gold maybe thats why it wouldnt load.

does madden 17 on Xbox One have the new rule change, where after a touchback the ball comes out tp the 25 instead of the 20. I noticed on the 360 it's still the 20.

Yes. On Xbone, it goes to the 25. Announcers even reference this when the returner doesn't make it to the 25.

Why vilify EA over this? Every new game on 360 is still 59.99, it's not just EA.

MLB the show 15 was $30 at launch on PS3 last year (I don't know if they made it on PS3 this year, or if they kept the lower price, as I have bought a PS4 since then). However I do agree that this has been the status quo for quite some time.

So what is in this game that justifies it to be $59.99 other than new commentators and updated rosters. IF you gone give us the same game as basically last year, it should not cost the same as the Xbox One version.

Also when you look for information on the Xbox 360 version, everywhere I see it's all about what's in the next gen Madden. A little misleading I think

A lot of games on the 360 are still $59.99. Not exclusive to Madden or EA.
