No custom music. No Face scan outside of my player/my GM.... Great...
So from the small amount of news thats come out so far. It looks like the two things i was hoping for is not going to happen. All i wanted was customizable arena music and face scanning so i can create a player in my league mode. I like playing my player but i dont like the scripted story lines and dumb roster moves that you cant do anything about.
Hopefully going forward the devs can integrate these features into the game.Tags: None -

I'd love to know their reasoning for removing custom music a few years back. To me seems like classic 2K, take out one feature and then bring it back a few years later and make a big deal about it.
It absolutely should be in the game. Made the game a lot more immersive. Either that or just put some effort into realistic arena sounds for gods sakes! -

I'm sure God could care less about 2k crowd noise. But darn well if he plays it ever I'm sure he notices the awful crowd response forsure.
I will add to this, wonder why they got rid of being able to skip songs from a little DJ menu you could pull up. Seems random

What article says no custom music? I don't believe this has been confirmed one way or the other. There is still hope.So from the small amount of news thats come out so far. One of the achievements on the list is "Hey Mr. DJ". It says you can achieve it by creating a custom playlist. That just means that you have to go to the music menu and remove at least one song from their soundtrack.Comment

Where does it say the custom playlists can't consist of our own music?Comment

It was more so because at launch the PS4 (which now has this, I believe) and Xbox One didn't support adding music to their respective consoles.I'd love to know their reasoning for removing custom music a few years back. They couldn't include something that was (at the time) no longer supported. Same reason this feature is missing from the WWE 2K series.

I remember it had so much potential when they introduced it to us(2K11 I believe)and they could never get it to work right SMH.It was more so because at launch the PS4 (which now has this, I believe) and Xbox One didn't support adding music to their respective consoles.

If they can finally get it down pat now, especially for us PS4 users, mannnnnnn....#RespectTheCultureComment

Unfortunate, being able to face scan created players would've been nice.

I mean i get it. They've prob been spending alot of time on actual gameplay. And in the long run if you put me to choose i'd prefer for the actual game play to be as realistic as possible. At the same time tho its the small things that keep us coming backComment

Yeah wtf? Just found out I couldn't do a face scan created player for MyLeague... what's that about? What's the big deal if we take our face scan guys and actually put them in other modes and rosters? It's just like any other created player, isn't it?Comment

If there was any way they could face scan from a picture, like an NBA players official team picture on media day or something. Like taking this picture:
and making a face scan from it. (I used Zipser as an example because he currently has no face scan.)

Either that or have someone from 2K (or even the players) do the cell phone face scan. At least then you have a decent enough looking face for players like Zipser and Yogi Ferrell (Mavericks).Comment
