QBs not throwing the ball on All Madden (Madden 17) XB1

Since I've bought the game on release date I have yet to see the CPU QB throw the ball. No matter if the receiver is open or not he just takes the sack. No pass attempt nor throwing the ball away. He just either stands there or scrambles until he gets sacked. Am I the only one having this problem?

I have the opposite, the QB throws the ball away and avoids a sack quite a bit. Often while in the pocket and as another thread said you can forget about getting any intentional grounding calls against the computer.

People are reporting this happening on play action passes, should take a look at that thread.

What system are you on? I have a xbox1.

I have reported fixes to this in a few different threads, including the impressions thread and the developers tweet thread.

This happened to me on all pro default.

The developers have tracked down the bug and a fix will be soon

People are reporting this happening on play action passes, should take a look at that thread.

It's not just play action passes, though.

It occurs when the QB hangs onto the ball until a rush comes and they just take a sack. No throw, no scramble.

I can confirm doing a hard reset on Xb1 fxed the issue for me. Russel wilson left the pocket after nothing was open and scrambled up the sideline for 15 yards just now. Before the hard reset he would've stood in the pocket like a statue and took a sack if nobody was open.

Yeah, MrPrice offered that suggestion or to uninstall/reinstall the game.

Game played much better for me after that.

Also seeing this problem on Ps4. But it depends it happened on the first drive and then the CPU started throwing. Question. When you mean hard reset you mean deleting the game entirely and then going on the PS Store or option menu and then Re-downloading?

What do you mean by "hard reset"?

Press the power button on the front of your console & hold it for 10 seconds. After, press it again to turn the console back on. It should boot up with a green screen to start, approx 30-45 secs later you'll be back at your dashboard.

I concur. Before reading your replies I set all the QBs who didn't have throw ball away to yes to yes and reset the game. It is playing much better now. Cutler is currently shredding me up as the Buccaneers.

I am quite certain that one of the Madden workers said not to do this yesterday.

I want to say the hard reset was an option for Xbox 1 users. I don't know how the Sony system works or how to clear it's cache or anything.
