How often should CPU use XP this year?

I'm getting ready to start a franchise and was wanting to know what the recommended setting was this year. Should it be each week, 4 weeks or end season?

I know last year I did every 4 weeks. I'm honestly not sure what it's set to. The new layout has me not remembering to upgrade my own team.

i fear that every 4 weeks wont give good results cause the cpu wont have enough time to save up a lot of xp and buy the right attributes

End of season using TDawg's sliders.

I'm using end of year, and I know that is what Tdawg is using as well for his xp slider set(highly recommend). If you do every week or every four weeks, then the CPU will spend all of the players xp on whatever they can afford, they will not save it up to buy the expensive upgrades. So by doing end of year, the top guys will have enough xp to upgrade the expensive ratings as well as the cheap ones. It basically gives more variety in the different ratings they choose to upgrade because it forces them to save for the expensive upgrades
