Fictional players problem
Hi guys. Playing my Connected Career, already through year 2022 with my Toronto Huskies (Jacksonville Jaguars). I didn't pay attention before, but I just noticed that fictional players' appearances don't match their portraits in game menus. If I go to the edit menu, every player has different face and skin tone compared with his portrait. And a lot of QBs look like Clay Matthews clones, with LB bodies and long blonde hair... Is it just me? Thanks!Tags: None -

Re: Fictional players problem
Thank you!! I am not the only one. The game generates too many long blond hair players. What I do to remedy the face issue is to pick a different skin tone then back out and edit it to the original face
Sent from my SM-G360P using TapatalkNFL: New England Patriots, San Diego Chargers
NHL: San Jose Sharks, Anahiem Ducks
NBA: San Antonio Spurs
MLB: Boston Red Sox, Atlanta Braves
MLS: Seattle Sounders
NCAAFB: Miami (FL), Mississippi State, Arkansas
International Soccer: AC Milan, PSG, US National Soccer, German National SoccerComment

Re: Fictional players problem
Yeah, this won't bother me much on my own squad because I can edit them to be unique, but if these Jeremy Shockeys are populating the league a few years in that will get tiresome.
How thoroughly have you looked through the rosters to see if its just anecdotal on your part? Is it possible you've just noticed a couple that look alike and made assumptions, or is it rampant?
Also, you describe two different issues here. The big bodied can't-believe-its-not-butter QB's and the portraits not matching the players in general...hmmm.Comment

Re: Fictional players problem
It seems, at least in my CFM, that not a single generated player matches his portrait, and in particular too many QBs are long blonde haired guys. Example: Dallas Cowboys QB, named Denton Madsen, is a bearded guy with short brown hair, based on his portrait. In game he looks like Clay Matthews. My HB, Sterlin Black, is a shaved guy based on his portrait, but in game he looks like Arian Foster.Comment

Thanks!i've noticed this too. i have a "jeremy shockey" UDFA whose profile pic is nothing like the golden locked god i see on the field.Yeah, this won't bother me much on my own squad because I can edit them to be unique, but if these Jeremy Shockeys are populating the league a few years in that will get tiresome.
