AI: Condit 100% stamina just denied twice to 0% stam Maia> still denies transition

ok so
i thought Condit Maia or Maia condit, condit by decision
well this game told me NO
at first i dont know why but for Live Events it seems there s real time clock out there
so 25mins for 5round fight? i mean seriously, lot of time to waste

so i was fighting Maia ground game, subs, gnp whatever for 4 rounds and i notice this AMAZING thing, i denied twice (or more) in row Maia s attempt to go to side saddle or crucifix or whatever, he got stamina on 0 (ZERO) while my stamina was on 100%, i try transition, well DENY
i mean come on?

AI gods of ground game?
and not just that
AI clinch same thing sometimes, u got full GA try to break clinch and still DENY
i mean come on

this is becoming really frustrating experience...

so after 4 rounds of having "fun" (more like frustration) with Maia, i just randomly knocked out for good Maia with one random punch...

well.. no more DEC for me in Live Events, first round KO and there u go Play Bonus..
it s not like it s enough that outcome of online fights is totally influenced by amount of lag, now even offline become great source of frustration

The only play bonuses I do are 1st and 2nd KO's

The AI is over powered on the ground regardless if it's Maia or a striking based AI, they will deny your **** all night long until they randomly stand up from mount

Lmao so true, I also only do play bonuses for KO's, sadly it's not fun playing against the AI in this game which is why I currently don't play EA UFC 2 at all

AI are grappling Gods.

They can deny everything with no Stamina or GA.

Surprised this isn't brought up more often.

I think what's also funny is that the game is so broken that faking transitions doesn't even work on them. You can do 20 fakes in a row and he will block that one transition you actually wanted to finish. It's either that they are wizards or that the penalty for the failed deny attempt doesn't affect the AI. So even though you should've a free transition they probably can have a load of failed denials

The AI operates on the same level as a player; they have no advantages that users don't. The game itself barely even knows they exist. AI runs separately from the game, and sends input to it as if it were pressing buttons on a controller.

I never said the AI doesn't know about the game, I said the game doesn't know about the AI. This means that the AI isn't treated any differently than a player, and is subject to all the same rules and restrictions.

So if the AI is baited into denying a fake transition, they will be stuck with the penalty just as a human would.
