Cutting players

Anybody else have the problem of the cpu cutting player even if you put everything to manual and then the players disappear

I haven't experienced the issue, but I've seen that a few people on here have.

One of the things I sue to do was well on a online CFM fill all the other teams wiht user or make a bunch of user names and filltheteams with that go thru pre-season simming or playing the games make all the roster moves for all the teams by signing in on that team etc. Then once your out of preseason your good and you wont lose any of the players u put on the teams.

Usually week 4 for in Pre-season the CPU cuts players where they disappear because theres not enough room on roster usually the free agent pool as u notice when making a cfm it shows u how many players are getting imported.

I would justt always sign in on each profile go to that team and make my changes. Takes a little bit to do but this did work on xbox 360 back then I have not tried it on the next gen consoles yet.

Yup a lot of people have, i think i might be addressed with the big cfm patch. What i do now is when it's time to make a cut i make my cuts and then go straight to transaction screen to see the one or two players the cpu randomly cut and sign them back. Just go week by week like that.

Players wont disappear either, someone [cant remember who to give him/her credit] mentioned to change the filter in free agency, for instance its set to top 100 automatically, change it to practice squad eligible and you should be able to find your cut players.

I have not played Madden in awhile and I am a bit confused I like to control all teams and control all transactions (real life) I am practicing setting up a league and everytime I do so the preseason automatically simulates pre season and all cuts have been made. I thought we had the option to play all pre season games last year. Could someone please explain how to set up a 32 user control franchise this way. Lol I know I'm getting older but man these games get better but more complex for us older guys.

Figured it I believe. I still wish they had a select all button instead of having to choose each team.

When starting new cfm, when you choose coach or gm or whatever it's like the top right setting I believe. You can adjust start preseason or start regular season or fantasy draft I think

Any new word on this? Has it been fixed yet, or has a legit workaround that doesn't involve resigning players(since some disappear right away) been found?

This is the only thing keeping me from starting my cfm.... I play strictly for the team building aspect of it, and losing control of which players I want to keep ruins the mode for me.

Start as one team, set the starting point to preseason, then go to league settings and user teams and there should be an option to create a new character. You'll need to do this for each team, IIRC.
