NBA 2K17 Prelude Feedback Thread

The Prelude has officially been released to everyone and I'd thought it'd be a good idea to get a thread dedicated to how people feel.

Below will be my list of Pros/Cons.


Pros:
·Controls are very fluid
· All the animations for Park/MC/ProAM are amazing
· The Characters voice can be used for multiple races, Mom's voice is good, but slightly Southern.
· Cutscenes weren't really annoying, pretty simple, straight forward.
· Oklahoma is GODLY in this game, Buddy doesn't miss.
· Attribute caps are fair.
· Clothes are dope, they have everything from Silk pants to Pilot gear.
· Most models are REALLY accurate.· They have Don Nelson's weird FT


Cons:
· Some people had issues with skip passes, but I rarely seen it.
· Klay has light brown hair, Bairstow looks weird
· ALL BIGS SHOOT FADEAWAYS!!! DJ took 3 of them
· THOSE 2KU TIPS ARE ANNOYING
· Should've let us use our pre-order VC
· Timing layups get annoying after awhile
· 2K recycled damn near EVERY MyCareer character for extras. (Cop, Team PR director, both assistant coaches, CeeCee, Dom, Freq, Vic, HS Coach, they're is 3 DIFFERENT Jackson Ellis JR."s)
- You have to watch the meter ALOT.

I never once watched the meter hit 85% layups but a few unintentional mid range jumpers, all with the X BUTTON. I was very pleased because never did I once time any layups or shots intentionally it was all very natural I didn't even notice a meter for my layups, I dunked pretty frequently with a 69 dunk rating.

Umm did you get a bonus game? If you did just say yea. No spoilers please.

Nope you can't. Apparently the trick to play a ton of games is to quit the games just before they end.

Is the #24 version 2008-2010 style Kobe on this game? I see 24 Kobe in the Friction trailer, and he certainly is on the cover of the game, so why wouldn't he be in the actual game? But everything I hear the only classic teams added were the 1992 Dream Team and those other country teams...which would mean no classic Lakers beyond 2001.
But how could we not have a Black Mamba 24 Kobe when he's on the cover and the trailer?
Really wish they had the 2010 Lakers.

Edit: O ok... *saw it anyway* - kinda figured it was one time through... so no biggie.. ima leave that last game right there... like candy.. until the itch rises again.

So I downloaded the New Zealand version of the game first

I played the MC and went through a cut scene and exited before playing a game. Then the North American version of the prelude came out. So I deleted the NZ version and tried playing mycareer on the NA version but it told me I already played it. I haven't even played a game. How can I fix this? I never completed the mycareer games.

Please help.

Hey just made an account to point out something. I'm a LDD PG and on 4 different occasions I got the opposing PG to turn it over on the 5 second closely guarding call when the PG was just trying to set up a play early in the shot clock. It really ruin that game for me tbh.

I know the rule isn't in effect for NBA games but just something I felt like pointing out.

Just checked youtube and Chris Smoove uploaded vids with way more scenes than we see in the prelude. does he have a different version or thats the full game?

Probably has it. I know Shake has it.

It's the same scenes from the Prelude. But did notice different clothing from the girlfriend and teammate lol
