Don't get me wrong i think the caps are a step in the right direction and will make MyPark a lot more interesting and versatile instead of over 90% of all the players being point guards. This will also play REALLY well with Pro-Am. I disagree with ONLY being able to have 5 gold badges. Although a lot of good players in NBA 2K16 have less then 5 gold badges, there are some like Derrick Rose 80 OVR who has 13, or Jamal Crawford 78 OVR who has 8.

I think a max of 10 gold badges would be more appealing. I don't know man. Or give us a dual-spec to use in MyPark or something. IDK. Guess we'll have to wait and see how this is gonna go.

I like only having the 5 gold badges. It's a big change after having about 35 gold badges the last 2 years.

I like the 5 gold badges. I just don't like that the 5 are pre-determined for your position. And that's not really my problem. I just disagree that all 5 should be locked. I created a defense first PF. I don't think I should have charge card. I'm not really looking at picking up a charge on a guard. I'd much rather have them attack the paint and I block their shot.

What I'd recommend is having the 5 gold badges, but only making 4 of them locked. The 5th could be a free slot assigned by the user. I'd swap Charge Card with Break Starter.

I suggest making it a DLC.

Hof SuperStar DLC, Unlock 5 selelctable gold badges and get Shaq, Iverson, Ming jersey.

More I think of it, this while MyPlayer system seems to come from the little kid practice of making a 99 ovr player so you can win everything.

Last year, these people NEEDED 40 badges and this ridiculous OP player to do ANYTHING. In AllStar TeamUp, give one of those dudes Michael Jordan...don't know what to do and play horrible.

I want ZERO badges. Play the game and have the boosts come from playing the right way.

Really like the 5 gold badges, but would have liked that they gave us at least 2 badges for us to pick their upgrade to gold or silver.

Not asking for an increase in the 5 number, but asking for more options and for even more variety within the builds as those 2 might change from player to player.

5 gold badges are ok, since we can still get bronze badges of others right? I made a glass cleaner center, I should be able to still get a bronze eraser or chase down artist. Im not sure if this is true. Can anyone clarify?

I like the 5 Gold Badges, as long as the CPU doesn't cheese and be OP with the amount of Gold badges it may have. If it's even, then I'm all for it. I want to see how this plays out in the game. Especially the Park because I couldn't stand the Park the past couple of years. I'm never with the arcade cheese play. If this balance attempt pans out, then they are definitely headed in the right direction.

Correct, you can earn other badges but will only be bronze versions.

I don't think many nba players will have a lot of gold badges since they did this. Bronze badges are still there. And the new hall of fame badges will be interesting. I for one love the idea of everyone having certain limitations. Both archetype restrictions and badge restrictions will make this 2k a very interesting one in terms of - will we still have players who suck but are only good because of ratings?. I want these restrictions for example to make people play smarter. Less ballhogs - more passing - better shot selection - have an actual basketball IQ in order to succeed to the best potential.

I actually like the badge system...it rewards the user if a player is utilized a certain way, If I get a badge because Kemba is draining 3s, I'll keep feeding him...especially because of the incentive he's received. I do think that there should be a timer or something where you cannot sustain the badge all game unless user play actually achieves it in full. I'm also not certain how well they are countered...i.e. if a 3-pt gold is countered by a lock-down defender.

Either way...conceptually wise, I like the idea.

It's very extreme.. 5 gold and the rest are bronze - no silvers..

I appreciate the direction or goal or focus albeit the implementation was a bit strict. I would expect them to put more consideration into the badge mix in 18... I'd also be OK with not being able to get all bronze badges - put a tighter restriction there too but give us a pyramid system of about 5, 10, 10, or 5, 10, 5..
